Aunt Chili reporting for babysitting duty 🫡

Ciri is very affectionate and attentive with her new baby. Such a good Momma! But Chili? This lady is 𝐁𝐀𝐁𝐘 𝐎𝐁𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃. When I open the door to our master bedroom, Chili darts in like a bat out of hell and makes a beeline directly to baby, instinctively wanting to warm & *proteccc* 🥹 Ciri seems to enjoy the company too. Some moms would not be as welcoming!

When the time comes, I have no doubt Chili will be a great mom. Just like her sister Ciri 💗

𝑰 𝑯𝑨𝑽𝑬 𝑺𝑶𝑴𝑬 𝑬𝑿𝑪𝑰𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑵𝑬𝑾𝑺 𝑻𝑶 𝑺𝑯𝑨𝑹𝑬!

We had 𝐎𝐍𝐄 Third Generation baby born last night! Mom and kitten are both doing fabulous! In the 7 years since starting Caylee’s C***s, I can officially say we have welcomed our very first 𝑺𝑰𝑵𝑮𝑳𝑬𝑻𝑶𝑵 🥹

A little about this sweet baby: This is the first child of Bane and Ciri 👩🏼‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏽 𝙒𝙝𝙤’𝙨 𝘾𝙞𝙧𝙞, one might ask? Ciri is formerly Caylee’s C***s Annie from our Broadway Litter! An INCREDIBLE representation of our program that I just COULD NOT let go of. Of course, by the time I realized this, she had already been chosen by a wonderful waitlisted family. New Mom and Dad were instantly attached (I mean, how could they not be?) So, on she went 🥲 However, this particular “Goodbye” would be much more of a “See ya later alligator” as an exciting agreement was made that Ciri be sent home to enjoy her adolescence under breeding contract! Now here we are, over one year later with a couple crazy “girls trips” under our belt.. and a love child has been born! (To top off the excitement, baby made their grand appearance on the same day that our brother & sister-in-law got married) 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 24, 2024, what a day 💍👶🏼🥰

Thank you Matthews family for your flexibility and support throughout this whole process. We pulled it off! Your girl is a rockstar! A NATURAL if I’ve ever seen one! Soaking in her very first morning of motherhood as we speak. More updates to come.

One of the best feelings in the world is a returning customer. A family that expresses how much 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 & 𝐉𝐎𝐘 we have brought into their lives through our babies and has the desire (more like the 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃) for more of it! 🥹 This is Magnus + Athena, biological siblings from the same father, different mother. 𝐀: Although Basil may appear White to the untrained eye, she actually possesses no white at all! Basil is considered ‘Chinchilla’ or ‘Shell’. A very fancy way of explaining that her coat has only 12% or 1/8 of the hair shaft colored with the rest being a pale silver. Shell is almost like a pearl, consisting of a solid base color and a subtle, iridescent sheen on the surface (which is caused by their minimal tipping). A couple ways for adopters to better distinguish this difference (without fully understanding detailed lineage) is to be aware that without a kittens parents being White, their direct offspring can not be either. White Maine C***s will also have soft pink noses without dark eyeliner whereas Chinchilla/Shell Maine C***s usually have black, rosy or wine colored noses with a noticeably thick, black eyeliner. Sometimes paired with a dark lip liner, too!
