Our 2025 Season is now off to a busy start. We have very limited availability right now. There is a waitlist for sooner appointments, we do encourage booking and being added to waitlist as we do get a couple cancellations here and there.

This month marks our 5 year anniversary I cant believe its been 5 years already!! 🎊🎉

This village and community has always been so accommodating and helpful in making us a success.❤️

I want to give shoutout to my two hard working girls Tori Miklacic and Maddy Mcdonald for the care, love and compassion they show our doggie clients. I dont say this enough but THANK YOU!!! 💓💓 And to all our staff that have come and gone here. THANK YOU!

To my family for constantly being a huge support system in this crazy endeavor, I'm so blessed. 🫂🤗🥰

Lastly I want to give huge shout to all our clients current and past. For trusting me with your fur babies over the years. For the many wet nose kisses and cuddles. Seeing how so many dogs come in and know the routine even picking out their kennel leading me into the back. Brings a smile to my face and my heart.🐩🐕🦮🐕‍🦺🐶

Are you seeing a lot of loose dog hair flying around your house? You have a dog but notice your allergies may have started to flare up. One possibility to the cause, they are shedding their winter undercoat. As warm weather starts to (slowly) make its way here, your dog may start to shed their undercoat. We can help remove a bulk of that.

Call 440-624-4007 to book their de-shedding appointment. We are currently booking 4-5 weeks out.

Did you know that there are grooming trends and seasons and one of them is just starting. It's matted coat season. This time of year we see a lot more dogs come in needing a coat reset. Below is some information I put together to help explain benefits of the coat reset. Why we do it and what we see.

Spring is coming, and the Easter Bunny will be stopping by the Spaw. Get a photo of your furry friend and the bunny on Saturday, April 12th, or Saturday, April 19th. This special photo opportunity will be available from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. both days.

We are open today, the roads were a little slushy and slick. The village has already been through and salted our sidewalks out front (Huge Shoutout to Jefferson Street crew!!)

Our back parking area is iced over in areas. If it makes it easier instead of parking please pull up to our back door and we will come get the dogs. We can also check customers out at back door from comfort of your vehicle if need be. Just call 440-624-4007 when you arrive. Or text the confirmation msg that you are here and we will meet you at back door.

A couple doodle before and after. Each are on regular grooming schedule Molly (every 3 weeks) and Bailey (every 6 weeks) With regular spaw days they are able to maintain a healthy longer coat. 🐶🐕🐩

It may be cold out but it doesn't mean your pups don't deserve a spaw day. Mr. Fin was such a good boy today for his spaw day.

Got word from landlord that we are good to reopen tomorrow!!! He found around 6 or 7 cracks from when the pipes burst but it's all fixed up and we are good to go. Due to the closings this week, we will be open Friday, Saturday and Monday thru Saturday this weekend and next week.

Well I would rather not repeat this day. But very grateful for landlord, and family for coming to rescue so far. As stated before we had no heat and that led to frozen pipes which then led to...well a not so zen waterfall in the salon. My emotional Rollercoaster was one for the books today. So with all that it looks like we will need one more day to fix things and get back up and running.

Huge shoutout to all my clients who have been very patient with us in rescheduling this week. Seriously you guys are the best. I am itching to get back to grooming believe it or not. I really need my puppy cuddles and wet noses.

Please help send some positive vibes this way that it will get fixed and we can reopen Friday.

I walked into a very very cold salon today...to find we have no power, heat or hot water. We have spoke to illuminating company they will be out today to hopefully fix the issue. So needless to say we will be closed again today. All appointments for today have been contacted and rescheduled.

Due to the predicted -10° for tomorrow for the safety of our clients and staff we will be closed tomorrow Tuesday January 21st. Tuesdays appointments have been moved to Saturday 25th. Please stay safe and warm.

Sometimes the hardest goodbyes are to our pets. Shortly after opening back in 2021 I made a memorial wall. The first name was our Teddy (pictured below). I wanted a place to remember all the pet clients we have had over the years. I try my best to keep them updated (if you have been a client and your pet is not up there please let me know)

I want you to know that I may only have a couple hours here and there through the years with your pets but they still are a part of our hearts here at HDS. 🪽 🐕 🌈
