Dental care is so important for our pets' overall wellness. While brushing and providing chews help keep those chompers healthy, routine dental cleanings are critical for preventing periodontal disease. We humans get our teeth cleaned regularly (before signs of build-up) to avoid dental disease, bad breath, and pain—and our pets need that too! Even the youngsters.

Here’s why we recommend pets over 18 months old should start preventive annual dental cleanings:

Periodontal disease in dogs and cats can lead to more severe health issues affecting their kidneys, liver, and heart. This can happen by the age of 3!
