"One of the most heartbreaking things I've experienced doing Zoo To You events is this shared mindset throughout adults that the animals are there "for the kids". Adults will hesitate to pet the armadillo, the hedgehog, the dragons...because they have this built in apprehension that tells them they shouldn't take away from the kid's experiences. But, that is so WRONG! There is more than enough experience to go around and adults deserve that too! Seeing these teachers so ecstatic to have this chance just brings so much joy to me!" - Amanda
