Today, CCLAS held our second FREE Wellness Clinic at VIP Petcare! Thanks to all the Lakewood pet moms and dads who brought their fur babies out for free wellness exams, spay/neutering, vaccinations and flea treatment (if needed!). We loved seeing all the cute pups, kitties and their proud parents! ❤️

We will be posting the registration details for our July clinic in the near future so stay tuned! The only requirement needed to register? You just have to be a Lakewood resident!

These free clinics were made possible by ARPA funds designated by the City of Lakewood.

Happy Caturday!! Wonderful news to report today! Our sweet boy Humphrey was adopted! He’s off to his forever home with his new mom, Amanda! We’re so excited for the both of them! 💜

Our sweet and handsome “Humphrey Bogart” is still looking for his forever home. He recently had dental surgery to remove some bad teeth and he’s now recovering and waiting to meet his new mom and/or dad.

Humphrey is a charmer and everybody who meets him falls in love with him. Just look at him! He’s gorgeous! He would be the perfect addition to a family that’d enjoy giving him endless love and snuggles.

Meet collar #3376 aka “Humphrey Bogart!” This super handsome and sweet guy is looking for his forever home! He recently had dental surgery to remove some bad teeth and he’s now recovering and looking to spend time with his new mom and/or dad.

Humphrey really is a charmer and everybody who meets him falls in love with his sweet and gentle soul. Us CCLAS folks just love him! He’ll be the perfect addition to a family that would enjoy giving him little nose boops and snuggles.

Remember sweet JOJO and the issue he was having with his eye? Well, he recently had surgery and his eye was removed, and he's doing fabulous! He's currently recovering in his foster home and his little personality is really starting to shine. JOJO is a sweetheart and right now it looks like his foster home is going to turn into a foster fail and he'll be staying there forever! We're so happy for him and his new family! 💙

Thank you to everyone who donated to JOJO's GoFundMe! Because of all of you, we were able to provide JOJO with the love and care he needed! He's a good boy.

Kitten season is here! With warmer winters, Lakewood’s cats are already reproducing. Foster care is essential in saving lives.

Join us at Lakewood Public Library this Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to noon for a FREE Foster Training Workshop! If you’re looking for ways to help animals, rescue organizations, and even families in our community, consider fostering! It’s an experience like no other.

The workshop is open to anyone who would like to learn about becoming a foster caregiver for kittens/cats. We hope to see you there!

We're so happy to share some PAWsitive news this Friday 🐾! Because of all of you, we reached JoJo's eye surgery goal! We can't thank you enough for your generosity.

This sweet boy will be having his eye removed on April 3. In preparation for his upcoming surgery, JoJo is at Waggs n' Whiskers Pet Grooming today getting a well-deserved pampering (a nail trim and bath!).

JoJo is looking for his forever home now! You don’t have to wait until he's had his surgery he's ready to get comfy at his new home where he can recover from his surgery in the loving care of his family.

CCLAS will pay for ALL of JoJo's surgery and post-op expenses. You just just give him some love. If you'd enjoy adding a sweet, one-eyed cat to your home, please reach out to us.

Meet sweet JoJo. After years of neglect, his owners recently moved away and left him outside to fend for himself. He's about 10 years old and very friendly even after everything he's gone through!

A concerned Lakewood citizen brought JoJo to CCLAS for help and we want to provide him with all the love and care he needs. He had an eye infection that was left untreated for too long and caused his eye to die. It now needs to be removed.

We're raising money for JoJo's eye surgery. Please consider donating so we can get JoJo back into tip-top shape and find him a loving home!
