This sweet senior guy is looking for a foster home! Please consider taking him in while he recovers. We can already tell he’s a fighter and would flourish with some love. Reach out to the Lakewood Animal Shelter if you’re interested!

Highly Requested Update on Our Sweet Senior Boy 💛🐾

Yesterday, we welcomed a very special geriatric cat into our care. He was immediately taken to the vet, where he received much-needed medical attention, including medication and treatment for an infection. He is severely emaciated and clearly has been through a lot—but we’re already seeing signs of hope.

Today, we’re happy to share that he has perked up! His resilience is truly heartwarming, and we’re optimistic about his recovery.

We are currently in the midst of a 72-hour hold to allow time for a possible owner to come forward. After that, we will be looking for a compassionate, experienced long-term foster to help him continue his rehabilitation in a loving home environment.

If you’re interested in fostering this sweet soul and helping him heal, please give us a call at (216) 529-5020! Your support could mean the world to him. 💛

Our Story

Thank you for your interest in our small but mighty organization!

CCLAS is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that supports the Lakewood Animal Shelter. We are a partnership with the shelter with a mission to help and support Lakewood's homeless pet population. We are a separate entity to the shelter and do not have a 'brick and mortar' facility. We operate entirely on donations from our supporters in the City of Lakewood and beyond. All donations in their entirety go to improving the lives of the pet population in Lakewood through spay/neuter partnerships, foster programs, and partnerships with local vets and pet stores.
