The first Pony Camp of the summer was a success! ☀️🐴😎
Our group of campers braved the heat and had a great day doing arts & crafts, making homemade horse treats, riding ponies, and even finger painting one of our favorite ponies!

We had another successful show yesterday! Thank you Lonewood Farms LLC for a great day!

💥Maddie & Storyteller were reserve champion in the Junior Equitation
💥Myra & Mia got ribbons out of a large, competitive group at their first show together in Beginner Equitation!
💥Angela & Mia had great rides in Short Stirrup Eq, just missing reserve champion
💥Katie & Mia came home with a champion ribbon in Long Stirrup! Katie’s first time jumping at a show!
💥Lindsay & Amber Gorton’s “Southern Callback” were champion in the Open Pleasure

The final day of Advanced Camp was a great success!
Today the girls learned how to measure lines designed &built an eight fence jump course.
Devin from NEPA Bodyworks came and gave a fantastic hands-on demo on equine massage therapy and cupping! The girls learned massage techniques they can do before and after their riding lessons.
Finally, the group watched Zack from Petroski Farrier Services trim & shoe a couple of our horses feet.
Camp this week was so much fun! Thank you to all of our industry professionals for taking time out of their busy schedules to come and teach our kids!

Another fun-filled day with our advanced campers! ☀️🐴
Today the girls got to watch Jeff Ide Equine Dentistry hand float Miss Mia’s teeth! They got a hands-on experience feeling her teeth before and after the floating.
Next we learned about products like poultice & liniment and why we use them on our performance horses. The girls practiced wrapping standing wraps on each other before moving onto their ponies.
We finished the day with painting some personalized picture frames, complete with a photo of each camper & their favorite horse!
Ready to move onto our final day tomorrow!

The first day of Advanced Horse Care Camp was a success!
Today our focus was on first aid and veterinary care. Campers learned about common illnesses & identifying lameness. They learned how to measure temperature, pulse, and respiration and how to draw up “medication” in syringes!
The day was complete with a lameness evaluation appointment with Dr. Anne & Cody from DeNaples Equine Services!
We are excited for another fun-filled day tomorrow!

Another Ridge Road horse show weekend in the books! All of the kids had great rides and ribbons!

On Saturday
🌟Maddie & Storyteller won the Low Child/Adult undersaddle and were reserve champion in the Open Pleasure
🌟Maddie & Dunkin earned a 2nd place ribbon in the No Stirrup Challenge class
🌟Emma & Mia were champion in the Novice Equitation
🌟Ella & Mia were champion in Mini Stirrup
🌟Charlie & Mia had great ribbons in their leadline debut!

On Sunday
🌟Emma & Mia were champion in the Open Pleasure and had great ribbons in the Suitable Hunters
🌟Isabella & Mia earned reserve champion in the Open WT, at her first show ever!
🌟Charlie & Mia got a great ribbon in leadline in a very big group!

A huge thank you to the moms, my girls, and Cody that helped me all weekend as I battled a wicked sinus infection. I literally would not have survived without you!

Another great Hidden Hill Stable horse show in Dalton today! 🏆

💫Raelynn & Mia pulled some nice ribbons out of a big leadline division in her first horse show ever!
💫Maddie & Hamlet were reserve champion in the Open Pleasure and won the Low Child/Adult Hunter undersaddle class!
💫Angela & Mia had great ribbons in a large, competitive Short Stirrup Eq group!
💫Maddie & Dunkin laid down some beautiful courses in Baby Greens and showed huge improvements!

⭐️Come join our barn family! We teach instructional riding lessons to children 4 years old and up, any skill level is welcome!

⭐️Do you want to show and compete?
-Polish your skills & get ready to enter the show ring!
-ALL level riders can show!
-We attend a wide variety of show series to suit individual goals - including PA Equestrian Assn., Colonial Classic, Penn Jersey, 4H, and more!

⭐️Do you want to just ride and have fun with horses?
-Competition is not required!
-We have multiple day camps & activities planned year round to get kids involved and make friends.

⭐️In addition to lesson mounts, we have multiple horses and ponies on-site available for full or partial lease.
