I don’t know about y’all but to me it’s crazy that we are half way through 2024! 🤯

Just wanted to put it out there again I am booking into the later part of the year (September-December). I know everyone likes to plan holiday trips in advance- always good to have pet care lined up too!

So I was gonna record a video of myself talking about all of this but y’all- I look a hot freakin mess today so I’m just gonna type and post.

ANYWHO-

For those that may not who I am or what I do, or for you guys that are new to my page- here’s a little bit about me:

•My name is Jordan Davis. Born and raised in these here Alleghany Highlands.

•I am the owner and sole operator of my business, “JD House and Pet Services, LLC.” No one works with me or for me- I do this solely on my own.

•When you’re going out of town for work, vacation, last minute trips, anything of the sort, I come into your home and I watch your house and your pets so that they don’t have to leave the comfort of their own home.

•I started doing this back in 2021 as a side gig just for fun for a few friends but the more I’ve done it, the more I’ve fallen in love with it. It’s now become a more full time thing.

•I do have another full time Monday-Friday job that I work at from 10AM-6PM and even another job that I work every Saturday at that I don’t get out of until closer to 9:30-10 at night. Usually while I’m sitting I will take breaks from my other jobs through out the day to make sure your animals are cared for, have food, fresh water, clean litter, been out to pee/poop, etc., and then when I get off, I spend the rest of the day being with them and even staying over night if need be to ensure that they’re cared for and comfortable.

•One thing I do not charge by is per pet. I charge solely by day and only by day. You will not be charged for extra walks, check ins, outside time, anything like that.

Hello friends, human and furry. As I have started this new journey, I am constantly thinking of ways to stay engaged with you all as your pet sitter even when I am not watching your babies.

It was recently brought to my attention that April 11th (this Thursday) is National Pet Day.

What better way to show off and celebrate our pets who are our best friends than with a give away from JD House and Pet Services?! That's exactly what we're gonna do.

I will be giving away a basket full of supplies, toys, treats, and everything in between.

To be eligible, you must post a photo of your pet(s) and their names in the comments of this post. Also be sure you have liked and shared in. YOUR COMMENTS MUST BE PUT UNDER THE ORIGINAL POST ITSELF. Unfortunately I will not be able to see if you've commented on someone else's post from where they have shared it. Commenting will be turned off at 6:00 Thursday and a winner will be chosen at random.

If you are selected, I will reach out and you can pick whether you want a basket for a cat or a dog and we will arrange to meet for pickup and all that.

I’m so exited to continue on with sitting services but I want to branch out a little to see what I could do!

Hey guys!
First, again, I can not thank you all enough for all of the support in me doing this. It's a very exciting journey and I can't wait to get busy!

I do have a logo in the works and as soon as that comes out I will be working on business cards to handout, and maybe even shirts, hats, etc. for sale so be on the lookout for that!

I am currently working on setting up with Square POS which is where I will be accepting payments and sending invoices and such on.

Looking ahead to the coming months- Here is what I currently have open- all the way through August.

All of March
The first 3 weeks of April
The 1st week of May
The 2nd and 3rd weeks of June
All of July except for the week of the 4th and the 14th-21st
All of August.

I will also work on getting pricing and such set to where I can have it posted here on Facebook. I am not going to have a website at this time, so any and all information will be posted directly here.

Sorry for the chapter book posts- This is more than likely how you should expect to see posting from me going forward, lol.
