This is quickly becoming one of those posts I am overthinking into not writing. Often, my head and heart meet and I choke. If there is one thing I have learned in the past eight years, it's that people can be so incredibly generous. It often happens when you least expect it and when you most need it.

Thank you again and always to the team at and Benson's Cares. Your donation of $6750 to cover the remainder of Piper's surgery cost is so incredibly appreciated.

There isn't a single time I see them when it doesn't feel like going home.

**There are better words to use than "incredibly appreciated" but this is one of those times when words are hard to find.

🌟🌟 What an absolute honor it was to spend the evening celebrating the Special Olympics New York athletes, and to be recognized as a company as a "Game Changer". A Game Changer is defined by Special Olympics as "a person or company who goes above and beyond to support the athletes of the Special Olympics (NY)."

Together with the support of so many individuals and fellow companies, the Special Olympics NY provides equipment and resources for the over 40,000 athletes here in NY to succeed in authentic competition.

We hold the athletes and organizers close to our hearts, and are humbled to be recognized. We presented last month's Round Up check that night for just shy of $7000! Thank you to our customers for giving us the opportunity to help others because of your loyalty and generosity. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of those right here in our communities. ❤️❤️❤

Our Round Up beneficiaries for August were the Malta Food Pantry (they provide pet food in addition to human food) and F.A.C.T. (feline advocates coming together). We split the round up funds from our generous customers right down the middle and gave them both the same amount.

We are in our 9th month of 2023, and we have been consistently handing over checks to rescue groups and animal causes for over $6,000 per month because of every customer that decides to round up their change from their purchase to the nearest dollar. Thousands of dollars per month literally coming from change!

We continue to be humbled and amazed at the generosity and genuine care for all of these causes we hold so close to our hearts. Thank you to every single person who said "yes!" to contributing. We appreciate you!

If you know us here at Benson’s, you know we do absolutely everything we can to support Veterans as well as animals.

We are grateful to be recognized by for supporting them through numerous fundraising efforts and event sponsorships.

Partnering with local communities to work together to improve the lives of humans and animals is what sets us apart from corporate stores. We have personal relationships with the organizations that we support, and we feel fortunate to be able to do what we can.

Another successful Round Up month gave us the opportunity to contribute to our friends at the SPCA. Funds help with the care of shelter animals who have been found, surrendered, and taken in from all sorts of different situations.

Your donations greatly impact the recue groups and shelters that we have the good fortune to work with. Thank you.
