I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your patience and understanding during this incredibly busy time. Today has been a whirlwind with 17+ calls and 8+ walk-ins all before 10am and I’m working hard to ensure everyone gets a chance to find their perfect chicks!

I know it can be a bit overwhelming, much like those early days of COVID when everyone was eager to get started. I truly appreciate your support and enthusiasm—it fuels my passion for this small business!

🌙 10:40 PM Update 🌬️❄️

It’s cold and windy out here, and I’m pushing through my 16th hour of “work”! Just finished checking on the brooders—fed and watered our newly hatched chicks. 🐣✨ I’ll be doing another check around midnight.

Exciting news! We’ll be accepting walk-ins tomorrow, 2/13/25, from 11 AM to 8 PM! We have several hundred chicks of various breeds available: Barred Rocks, Buff Orpingtons, Sapphiee Gems, Easter Eggers, Welsummers, Speckled Sussex, New Hampshires, Silkies, Gold and Silver Laced Wyandottes, black Australorps, and few others!

Demand is through the roof! Today alone, I received over 18 texts, several online orders, and a flood of emails. I’m doing my best to keep up, but with so many notifications, it’s tough to catch everything on Facebook. If you need to reach me, texting is the way to go! 585-209-3223. Plesee try to use one point of contact or ill contact you multiple times too and it slows me down. Just please be patient—there’s a lot more of you than me! 🙏

This year, don’t be too picky! Grab what you can and fill in your rare breeds and fancy options as they come. With rising egg prices and bird flu, many commercial hatcheries are sold out for the year already across the US which can be a double-edged sword for us little guys. We’re feeling the pressure, and while we love your enthusiasm, please remember that we’re juggling a lot!

We’re counting on hatching estimates and trying to align demand with what we have available. I’ll do my best to have several hundred chicks ready each week, but they’re selling out quickly! 🐤💨

So, get your brooders ready—not the coop just yet! You’ve got a few weeks of brooding time indoors before they go outside. Let’s kick off this chick season with kindness and patience! Happy chick season, everyone! 🥳🐥❤️

We will have a handful of started buff orpingtons 2 weeks and some days old if your interested in females. ✨
