It it has to do with fish, we have it, or we will go out of our way to get it.

Fun fact! 🤩 Texas Holy Rock and similarly any Limestone should not be added to tanks that house South American fish! (Also, most of the popular fish that are kept in the hobby) These types of rocks are best for African Cichlids as they will raise the pH up to 8.0 or higher. Most tropical fish need a pH of 7.0

FRESHWATER FISH FRIDAY 🐟🔥 (He's actually Brackish) Check out the "Freshwater" Tiger Moray! The Tiger Moray is hardy and can tolerate freshwater, but does best in brackish conditions. They need to be kept in a larger aquarium as they can reach 24". The Tiger Moray will appreciate plenty of hiding spots, and foods such as krill or cut up silversides. A tight fitting lid is ESSENTIAL as this eel can slither out of the tank.

Our freshwater gal, Alyssa, unilaterally decided that Goldfish are the most bullyable fish. They're not the best swimmers 😔
We actually do not recommend catching fancy Goldfish with nets, as they have a weak slime coat! It is better to catch or move them with your hands 🙂‍↕️

(Late) MARINE FISH MONDAY 🐠🔥 Check out this beautiful Trispilus Wrasse! This fish originates from the Western Indian Ocean to South Africa. The trispilus wrasse is in the Halichoeres genus and will help with eating flatworms in the reef! He only gets about 4" in size and is peaceful! A sandbed is necessary to keep the Trispilus Wrasse comfortable, long term. Come by and check him out!
