Absolutely Fish has been in business for over 20 years and is viewed by many as one of New Jersey’s premiere fish stores. We are listed as one of New York City’s picks when visiting the area. Our clientele, although mostly local, has traveled from Philadelphia, Syracuse, New York City and even Boston. We specialize in high-tech aquarium systems and hard-to-find fishes from around the world. We ha

ve been know to carry Australian fishes with a retail value of $5,000 per fish. For parts and equipment that can’t be found anywhere else, people come to us because in all likelihood, we’ll have it! We have the largest selection of African cichlids, corals, marine sharks, rays and South American catfish in the tri-state area. It it has to do with fish, we have it, or we will go out of our way to get it.

FRESHWATER FISH FRIDAY 🐟🔥 Check out these Indian Butterfly Loaches (Annamia normani)! These guys are peaceful, and primarily feed on biofilm along with insect larvae (in the wild). These fish would make an interesting addition to any peaceful community tank that is at least 15-20 gallons large! They prefer a pH of around 7.0-7.5. These guys can be found in fast moving streams in the wild!

FRESHWATER FISH FRIDAY 🐟🔥 Check out this awesome Clown Knifefish! These guys are more predatory than aggressive. It's super cool to watch how they swim with their unique body shape. This fish should be kept in a large tank housing a semi-aggressive community. They can grow up to 30 inches! Do not mix with fish that are too aggressive (i.e. Central American cichlids) or fish that can fit in the Knifefish's mouth. These fish originates from asia, but is also considered an invasive species in Florida
