Meet Otter!
At first glance, you would think this cutie had Swimmer’s Syndrome. But after a vet exam, we have discovered he is the product of breeding two dogs that shouldn’t be bred.
His mother was a super small bully and father was significantly larger, which resulted in puppies that were WAY too big for mom. She lost one, and this little guy has severe leg deformities. The vet believes he’s post legged. This means his legs are turned out on the back legs. He can be a semi-normal dog with lots of physical therapy. Which we have already begun! Besides the legs, he’s a totally healthy 4 week old puppy.
We are grateful this owner reached out for help. We also made sure to educate the best we could on how important it is to spay and neuter their dogs so this can never happen again. Pitbulls are the most overbred dogs and most misunderstood. They are being bred faster than we can save them! Please be a responsible pet owner. To stop the over breeding and for the health of you pets.

Meet Big Red!
This sweet boy is in need of a forever home or foster! He was part of 6 dogs left in a home and he’s the last one not rescued from the Valley Mills pound! He is up to date on his vaccines. Scheduled to be neutered on June 1st! He is dog friendly (we suggest bringing your dogs to meet him if you have any). He’s very sad and alone in the holding pens at the pound! If you are interested, please let us know and we will get you in touch with the pound!
