Teaching a Bomb-Proof stack

Are you teaching your dog to ignore you? Do you find that your dog would rather smell the grass or stare off into space than doing what you ask? Believe it or not - this is often the case. If you know how to effectively communicate with your dog, so many problem behaviors will vanish. Repeatedly saying the same word or shouting commands at a dog who doesn't understand language does no one any good. Dogs do not understanding English, Spanish, German or whatever language you speak. They have to be taught through patience and consistency what you want. Often times when a dog gets it right, it is because they are good guessers and landed on the right behavior through happy accident. Life is a series of choices. Teach your dog what the correct choices are and you will be amazed at how easy it is to gain their confidence, trust and willingness to please. Our STAR Puppy and Manners I Classes teach you the importance of following through, using the same command each time and what to do when your dog simply "won't".
