Another glorious morning at Rycin Stables! Sweet Pea and Shannon walked away to the top right corner, Nelly stayed closer to Cajun and Presage, and Cajun and Presage are simply inseparable. Since day 1 of Presage joining Rycin Stables, she has chosen Cajun and these two are always nose to nose, hip to hip, grazing and doing everything together. Sometimes, no matter your age, you just got to let the cool air run through your hair and enjoy the life to the fullest, savoring every moment of it! Here’s our senior resident, Cajun, during his rare, once-in-a-while running moments (followed by Presage). Sweet Pea, Shannon, and Nelly couldn’t be bothered, there’s grass out there, after all! ❤️🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴❤️

A new, beautiful friendship is formed. Cajun and Presage, the new girl, his look-alike. We love seeing happy, relaxed horses! ❤️🐴

So far Presage has been introduced to Cajun, who lives next to her. So far so good! ❤️

Our horses at Rycin Stables are surely enjoying their first round bale of hay. We were not sure how they would like it as they are fed the small bales on daily basis, but they seemed to totally approve this trial of ours! Even Cajun joined the girls on their side for a while and enjoyed the buffet. ❤️🐴🐴🐴🐴❤️

Last but not least, Cajun also loved his frozen treat. Spoiled horses enjoying their retirement at its best live at Rycin Stables! ❤️🐴🐴🐴🐴❤️

Nelly got her ice pop next. She surely loved it!

Next one was Shannon to enjoy her frozen treat.

What’s a better refresher in this scorching heat than some nice frozen treats? Our horses enjoyed their ice pops for sure! Here’s Swet Pea, our alpha mare.
