Courtesy post for Rosie who is in need of a home.

We don’t usually do this since we have 100+ of our own in need, but her name is Rosie and I had to help.

Rosie is the sweetest and most affectionate two-year old Dilute Calico cat. Although timid at times, she slowly but surely blossoms out of her shell as she becomes comfortable. She loves relaxing on the couch with her people and enjoying gentle pets while rubbing against them. Rosie will roll over continually while soaking up gentle one-on-one time with love and affection. She will even stand on your lap and rub her face against yours to let you know how happy she is. If you listen closely, she'll win you over with her quiet but persistent purr in your ear.

Once acclimated, Rosie loves sleeping at the foot of the bed next to her person and waking up together with cuddle time. She will express her happiness by making plenty of biscuits! After some morning love, she enjoys canned breakfast and staring outside to watch the birds and squirrels. This cutie also loves chasing her catnip mice around the house, especially if you throw them for her!

Rosie would consider it a bonus to have a work-from-home parent so she can soak up all the love and soft pets her heart desires. If you work from home, you'll certainly enjoy this perfect little coworker. Although low-key and quiet, Rosie will gently brush up against your legs along with tiny "meows" reminding you she's your best friend.

Rosie is a petite girl weighing about 7 lbs. with the softest fur and most beautiful coat. She loves to have her face rubbed and if you pet Rosie and show her how much you love her, she will reciprocate by purring softly and will let you know how much she loves you back.

It's important that this dainty sweetheart be the only animal at home being she is afraid of other animals including cats. As an indoor-only girl, Rosie prefers a low-key home where her family understands felines take time to acclimate while being provided with lots of love and reassurance. You won't regret having this beautiful and gentle little sweetheart by your side. She is vetted and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

UPDATE: at 1:30 am one of our supporers called me and arranged with the FF’s wife to get the cats. The FF, when leaving his shift this morning, will be transporting the cats to her home for temporary placement while we try to find them a home.

Can someone go get them now at the Fire Dept to give us some time to find placement for these three that didn’t deserve to be dumped and probably won’t make it outside when they’re tossed out tomorrow?

Can you please post these cats for rescue help? They were dropped off at a Detroit fire station this evening. Three scared grown adult cats in a box. Like, who does that??? They need rescue help FAST. I’m not sure what tomorrow will bring. We know nothing more than someone dumped there in a box. PLEASE SHARE.

Meet the Pudding Cup Litter!

Bread Pudding, Rice Pudding, and Tapioca.

They are bathed and have full bellies tonight.

Bread Pudding weighs a lot more than the others at 516 grams. The others were separated from mom for a bit and were fed vanilla pudding so they’re boney and have some catching up to do. They’re 359 and 361 grams.

I have gotten so many messages about an adoption event now that we have a new location.

I’d love to!

But we just moved in yesterday.

We need paint, flooring, vestibules, kitten room, to clean, etc.

So if we do have one, all the cats in attendance would have to be in ferret cages. They can’t roam free.

If the flooring is delivered and installed before Sunday, I will have a last minute adoption event with as many cats as the ferret cages here will hold. We have about 10 on site now and another 20+ in foster homes. So maybe we can have 20 cats or kittens here for a couple hours.

I will shoot for this Sunday, but it really depends on quite a few big things falling in place.

I’ll keep you updated throughout the week.

Sweet little Girl Scout S’Mores is back with us and will live on at the Catfe with the others.

I do not have an appropriate pic of her for the Rainbow Wall, unfortunately. She was deceased when we got her. I will have to figure out how to do her frame for her. 😞

We successfully networked the 7 cats yesterday who were about to end up on the streets… Meanwhile, this friendly orange guy is already on the streets and has yet to find help. He is sweet, unaltered, and smaller in size… estimated to be an older teenage kitten or very young adult cat. Is anybody able to help this guy get off the streets?!? 🙏🏼

Looking for a foster!

Someone was feeding these kittens vanilla pudding.

There were three of them found in a basement with a broken window in an apartment building.

One of our trappers just went and got them and called me. She can keep them in her bathroom overnight but that is all.

Can you help?

You guys!!!

I have never experienced anything like today.

We had alone 40 volunteers today!

Tim and Alexus rented the truck. Leigh Ann manned the store while we were at storage.

We emptied 5 FULL storage unit.

The Allen Family donated lunch for everyone. Their teenage son donated $100 of his birthday money to the cats.

We had so much help today!

Truly blessed. It’s so overwhelming for someone that does not have a habit of asking for help.

Nearly speechless.

We sold so much merch and have helpers all this week to help take back the hunderds of bags of bottles thaty were donated. We are already half way to our goal for the glass enclosures.

Octopus’ Beer Garden reached out to us wanting to help with the kitten room and vestibule glass we have to purchase next week. It’s $16k.

They can accommodate 80 people at their restaurant and offered something a little different this time to help.

All you can eat Pancakes!

Includes 3 pancakes to start. It is by reservation only and includes 2 bacon and 2 sausage, tea, water, coffee or pop.

11am and 12pm slots so they can offer this to 160 people.

They also donated all their restaurant and personal returnables yesterday to help! ❤️

When: Sunday, April 13th 11am or noon

Where: Octopus’ Beer Garden - Mt Clemens

We are at the new home of the cat cafe and rescue today from 10-7 collecting bottles and selling some merch!

New joggers and pink hoodies are on the way. I had no idea so many sold at the Comedy Castle last week until we put everything we had out last night.

5987 26 Mile Rd in Washington next to 7-11 and just before Stoney Creek (Mound Rd)

Bottles can be dropped off on the back patio. We will be making return runs throughout the day.

Thank you to all that dropped off bottles today and bought some Rosie’s merch to help us fund the glass kitten room.

We will be there tomorrow 10-7pm again running bottles and selling merch.

To the person that came in around 4:30pm when we were still setting up, I found an XL black zip up with pink and have it on hold for you. 😊
