We still have kittens available for adoption from our “flock” litter!!
Available for adoption through Michigan Cat Rescue . Currently being fostered at Cats Veterinary.
As of now, Cats Veterinary will resume normal business hours but we are not scheduling any wellness exams or nail trims (unless concern for ingrown nails). We will continue to see any sick cats and rechecks. We have new protocols for appointments that limit our social exposures which will be discussed at the time of creating/confirming appointments. You can reach us at 586-463-9550. If anything changes, we will make an announcement.
House cat Gru wants to remind everyone to wash your hands frequently!
Happy Halloween! We’ve had our fair share of creepy crawlies for the day! We removed a tick off of one of our patients that came in today.
How millennial cats hunt for mice!
Cheer clinic cat Little Foot on in the comments below, she will catch it one day!
Our sweet Mango is doing great without her cast! She loves to run and play! Mango is available for adoption through Michigan Cat Rescue and you can visit her anytime at the office during normal business hours.
Remember Mango? She’s doing GREAT spending time between Dr. Reagan’s house and technician Jessica’s house. She still loves to play and barely acknowledges her cast, it doesn’t slow her down at all!
Both Dr. Reagan and Dr. Hough have been working with our friend, Boo, here! He had awful stomatitis (inflammation of his gums) and was having a hard time taking his medications, even after we removed all his teeth. We placed a feeding tube to make sure he was eating enough calories and also to get his medications in. We were happy to see him eating on his own and was even talking with our assistant, Becky. We will leave the feeding tube in for a whole month to finish his medications since he's doing so well! Mom states that she's really only using the tube for medications and is happy with his progress!
Our little guy "Thor" is feeling so much better. Thor was surrendered by a good Samaritan who found him outside sick with an upper respiratory, covered in fleas and very underweight. With the aid of Michigan Cat Rescue and the veterinary staff here at Cats Vet... he is feeling like a real kitten again! He will be looking for his forever home soon- stop in and meet him!
Come meet this sweet guy at our adoption event tomorrow afternoon from 4-7pm! His brother and sisters will also be here ready to get their forever homes. Michigan Cat Rescue. Shaggy was enjoying some socialization time on head technician Jess's desk....
