As the year comes to an end, I wanted to THANK YOU ALL for your generosity to our Shelter Tree fundraiser for the Clinton Animal Shelter .

A total of $703.00 in monetary donations has been raised and a considerable amount of supplies were also donated.

Good Morning,

This will be our last week collecting items/supplies for our Shelter Tree to help The Clinton Animal Shelter. Saturday after 1pm we will take everything to the Shelter.

While you are doing your shopping on this last week before Christmas, please consider picking up an item or two that is listed below from the Smelters wish list.

Keep in mind, we decorate our tree, the tags on the picture of the bulletin board are for items that the shelter still needs.

Our 5th Annual SANTA PAWS is Today!!

Stop by to support our Clinton AnimalShelter and have some fun.

Not only will Santa, Mrs. Clause, and the Grinch be here for pictures, we also have a bake sale and several pet toys and clothes to raise money for the Shelter.

Our Shelter Tree will be up on November 28th, so when you are out shopping for Thanksgiving, Black Friday or Small Business Saturday please consider picking up some supplies for the Clinton Animal Shelter. Clinton Animal Shelter

If you haven't heard of our Shelter Tree, it is similar to an Angel Tree only it is dedicated to the homeless dogs and cats at the shelter.

We decorate the tree with dog or cat tags that you take off of our bulletin board. Each tag has the name of a shelter pet and on the back of the tag are two items that the shelter needs, one of these items is less expensive than the other and we ask that you get what you can afford. The tags are to a shelter pet from your dog or cat for instance to Petey from Ellie.

We are at 203 N. Washington St. in Clinton.

During the entire month of March, we are going to donate $5.00 from every walk-in nail trim to The Clinton Animal Shelter .

The Shelter is always in need of monetary donations as well as supplies.

It seems a bit early to think about your dog getting Skunked but it's not.

Someone reached out to me last night FEBRUARY 18th in FB messenger for advice after her dog got skunked. Here are some ideas to help you at home if we are not open.

We recommend Nature's Miracle Skunk Odor Remover, if you can't find this, I have posted similar home remedies.

DO NOT WET YOUR DOG FIRST!! The skunk oil will spread all over the dog that way, follow the directions on the bottle of Nature's Miracle or the home remedy.

As crazy as it sounds, TICKS are here so keep an eye on your dogs. Our first dog of the day had a half a dozen ticks on her. She lives on the outskirts of town so I am pretty sure she got them in the fields.

Talk to your veterinarian about the best flea and tick prevention for your dog.

The Shelter Tree "Gifts" were delivered to The Clinton Animal Shelter today and they filled the back of our Pick-up Truck.

We will be CLOSED December 22 and 23 due to inclement weather. If you have an existing appointment on those days we will contact you to reschedule your appointment.

We will still be closed for the Holidays and we will reopen on January 3rd.
