Please call us before July 3 to refill any meds.
Also, we will be closed on July 4 and will re-open on Saturday, July 5, at 8am.
Please call the Animal Emergency and Specialty Center at 865-693-4440 for any after hour or holiday needs.

As an owner of a couple anxious dogs myself, I will share this every year.

Quick PSA: During the Fourth of July holiday, and the days leading it up to it when folks start celebrating with noisy fireworks, scores of pets run away from the sights and sounds, making the day after Independence Day the busiest of the year for animal hospitals and shelters. Please do your due diligence. And if you feel as though your pet may need medication to help them relax during firework season, now is the time to speak with your veterinarian!

Happy we could accommodate those who needed us on a shortened schedule today. At the moment, we are closed so that our staff can safely manage to get home before temps drop more and the second wave of this system moves through.
With that said, please check here tomorrow before heading to our office. If you have an appointment for Thursday, you should have received a call informing you to call ahead. While we want to make the promise we will see everyone for their scheduled times, the safety of our staff and you, the clients, is more important.
We will update our hours tomorrow morning. Everyone be safe!
