Herd 2 Human is an equine inter-species communication program developed to assist with trauma recovery and general wellness that is based on learning through teaching and sharing the love of horsemanship with others in such a way that builds deeper relationships, strengthens personal self awareness and fuels core personal growth for our participants. The vehicle for arriving at these goals comes t

hrough exposure to, and development of, inter-species communication between human and horse. For years we have had the pleasure of experiencing countless stories of positive personal growth and recovery with those who have attended our clinics and private sessions. If you have experienced a traumatic event in your life, know someone who is struggling with PTSD, or if you just desire a new and beautiful way to break away from life's challenges, we are always happy to discuss the possibilities offered through our Herd 2 Human program. The horsemanship methods and philosophies of Herd 2 Human are proven effective in helping humans deal with the stress of life's challenges and build better relationships through horses. Willowbend Farm offers From Herd 2 Human programs to the following organizations: -The Learning Center at Red Willow in Missoula, Montana in support of a wide range of healing modalities, including HTOP (Heroes Therapeutic Outreach Program) -The Missoula Urban Indian Center in support of their historical healing program and/or individual client needs -Independent counselors and therapist working with trauma survivors Individuals interested in learning interspecies communication or just simply looking for a break from life’s everyday challenges -Leaders and members of corporations and organizations looking for a creative and deeply meaningful way to regroup and refocus work related stress into efficient team work
