Humane Society is a place of hope and compassion. Its mission to provide and care for suffering and homeless animals, to prevent cruelty to all animals, and to advance humane education, is as vital today as it will be one week, one month or one year from now. If you believe as we do, please consider making a donation today. With your help, together we can make our beliefs become a reality. By making a tax-deductible charitable donation, you can help the Clinton Humane Society continue serving Clinton, Iowa and part of western Illinois. Our greatest reward is when an animal is reunited or adopted to go home to a loving family.

We have the most amazing news!!! We are so blessed and have been donated a washing machine from Turner Electric and a dryer from Clover Hills!!! Thank you seems like such an understatement but you have no idea how grateful we are. And to our laundry fairies….. you are angels on earth. Our new machines won’t be here until Friday and Monday so anyone that could do some more laundry tomorrow and Saturday we would be very grateful. I would call before coming as it’s been going out the door pretty quickly. Thank you again one and all❤️🐶🐾😸❤️🐾

❤️Rex & Ivy Update❤️
Rex and Ivy have become the best of friends. They play very well together.
They are very much loved by everyone who knows them.
They love the water. Love ther treats, and put up with us when we make them look goofy. Ivy really lokes her winter jackets. Rex tolerates it.
They definitely have their own personalities.
They are both full of love and snuggles.
The are bed hogs. King size isn't big enough.
They are both very spoiled and are deeply loved. Can't imagine not having them both around.
Thank you for allowing us to adopt them. They complete us.

❤️Trudy Update❤️
Trudy has been so loving and she’s so curious! always exploring our new apartment and she’s became so vocal. She now knows my alarm in the morning means she can get a few minutes of snuggles with me before i get ready for work. Absolutely in love with her 🩷

❤️Gibson Update❤️
Gibson is doing amazing, he loves going on walks and he enjoys his soft treats. Lately it’s been so hot out he hasn’t been able to go on a lot of walks :(. He loves going to Blains farm and fleet. He sure does love his blankets

❤️Penny Update❤️
Update on Penny! She's doing amazing still and has definitely calmed down since we adopted her. She's the perfect little thing and loving life!

❤️Lucy (formerly Cha Cha)Update❤️
Cha-Cha (now Lucy) is doing well. She has come out of her shell and loves attention. I thought that she was going to be a shy cat but she's done a complete 360. She likes to run around and be loud no matter the time. Playing fetch and setting toys on top of me are her favorite morning activities as well.

‼️UPDATE‼️ALL THE LAUNDRY HAS BEEN PICKED UP TODAY!!! WE CANT THANK YOU ALL ENOUGH!!!! IF YOU ARE STILL WILLING TO DO SOME PLEASE CHECK BACK WITH US LATE TOMMOROW OR EARLY FRIDAY!!! We are reaching out for some much needed help!!! We are so over capacity with over 175 cats and almost 50 dogs in the building we are sure you can imagine the laundry. Our machines are old and break down frequently due to the demand. We are reaching out to plead for any help from the public with our laundry. This would require you coming to the shelter picking up some of the laundry and washing it at home and bringing back to us. If 8-10 people offered help it would help us TREMENDOUSLY!!! Please consider this or a donation to fix our machines. We would be eternally grateful ❤️🐾🐶🐾🐱❤️

We had 9 dogs brought in last weekend in less than 24 hours and we are scared from anticipating this weekend with all of the fireworks. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be mindful of the furry friends in your neighborhoods that are probably scared to death of them. Tags, microchips, or a simple sharpie marker on their collar can get them back home instead of coming here. They are so sad and confused and wonder where their humans are when they are here. Shout out to Pix Along the Way for capturing these images of Paws and Whiskers in “jail”. Happy Independence Day and please be safe!!!
