Sabrina a.k.a. Beana Beana has officially been with the rescue for a year now, came in as a six month old kitten who was pregnant. Unfortunately both of her babies were stillborn. Since then she’s just been hanging out waiting for her forever home. As you can see, she’s just a silly kitty. I think she prefers to be an only cat, though she lives with many others. She just has not bonded with or befriended any of them. She has a standoff every now and then with one or two particular kitties. As for people, she follows me everywhere, and talks to me all the time. She’s fully vetted and ready for a home of her own.

Blue and Lexi 🐶🐶
Here is a video of working with them last night. As soon as I sit on the couch they both come running, but me standing up is another story. So we did some treats with me squatting at the bed of the couch and then standing. Blue only wants to get so close, he will get closer if Lexi is next to him. But alone he isn’t so brave yet.
Lexi is making great strides in the house. Outside is still another story. She goes outside most of the time but sometimes refuses. Sometimes she is out there and fine, other times she hears a loud truck, or people or something that will scare her and she just wants back in the house where she feels safe. It’s a slow process but we are doing it.
Look at this absolutely adorable, sweet little puppy. This is Vixen, one of the three we have left for adoption. Vixin was born December 16 2024. She is up-to-date on her vaccines, been dewormed and is micro chipped. She is very people oriented and follows her people wherever they go. Little update on Blue and Lexi. As you can see both are making progress! Lexi has meet me the last 3 mornings in bed for some pets. Blue still keeps his distance but he loves his pets when I’m sitting on the couch. I get tail wags from both. They are both so sweet. 🥰

I decided to name her Lexi. I feel like that fits her. She is doing pretty well. Her and Blue are good buds! She is defiantly full of mischief. She is going out to potty most of the time now, running around like crazy. I did try to put pants on her overnight, she kept getting them off. I pulled out the handy suspenders, she said oh no and chewed them up! Little stinker. She chewed my 20 ft lead we had been using. All at night while I sleep🤣 as you can see she has toys and is playing with them and chewing things she is suppose to as well. She is still learning so it’s my fault for leaving things out.

We are making some progress with Blue. Bring in Lexi(spirit) has seemed to help. They are always near each other. Blue is learning he like some pets, as you can see he paws when I stop, meaning he wants more. He is still very unsure, but baby steps. So glad he doesn’t have to be living outside in this bitter cold!
