River Bottom Bloodhounds is a family business started in 2011 with our son, Logan, getting his first red bloodhound "Hank". He quickly became a beloved member of our family , so much that in 2012, we added "Ellie", a liver and tan , for our youngest son , Grant. Our dogs are AKC Registered and get lots of love and attention from our whole family. Our goal is to give others the opportunity to expe

rience the same joy we have from owning a bloodhound. Our first litter was born April 22, 2014 and will be ready for homes June 6-7. Owning a puppy/dog takes a lot of time and responsibility. Please remember this when considering a puppy. We want to be sure our puppies are going to good loving homes and will be well taken care of for life. Bloodhounds are very loyal and love your attention. They need daily exercise and can not be left out alone because of their keen sense of smell. They follow a scent wherever it may lead, which is why this breed is often used as rescue dogs. Left unattended , they will wander off easily. We have experienced this first hand, so when thinking about purchasing a puppy , be sure you have plans for keeping him safe when you are not out with him.
