Benny is the sweetest little puppy. He is just so cute and affectionate. He absolutely loves belly rubs wants to be sitting right next to someone, likes chilling and watching TV. He has a very calm temperament and hardly ever barks unless he is playing with his brother. He would really love some new playmates and a snuggle buddy.

This post is not for sympathy but to let you all know what has been going on the last few weeks and the reason we have not been posting so many pics and videos of our adorable puppies. 3 weeks ago my very active hardworking mother walked into the hospital ER on a Sunday morning due to her right leg hurting and thinking she may have a blood clot. (She has had stents and a bypass put in her right leg over the last couple of years due to arteries clogging). Monday she went into surgery to try to break up the clots and unclog arteries. Tuesday afternoon they found out that didn't work. Wednesday her right foot and ankle started turning purple by the afternoon the discoloration traveled up to her calf. Wednesday evening they did another surgery trying to replace her bypass but could not do it due to so much clotting and not enough blood flow. Friday morning my mother had to have her leg amputated below the knee. She also ended up with an infection and was very sick and weak. The following Tuesday they looked at the amputation site and noticed it still did not have enough blood flow and the muscles and tissues was dying, so Friday afternoon she went back into surgery and had to have that leg amputated above the knee. During all of this they thought she also had lung cancer and that was the cause of the clots. Doctors, Surgeons and our family pushed for the hospital to do a in-house biopsy (for some reason they don't like doing it that way) but they agreed and put a rush order on results and Thank the Lord it came back negative. So for the first 2 weeks it was an emotional Rollercoaster for all of us with one thing thrown on top of another. While I stayed up at the hospital with my mom, siblings and dad, Josh had all of the chores and duties of taking care of the dogs, puppies, children and the house which is A LOT for 1 person. So now that my mom is out of ICU and moved to a general room in the inpatient rehabilitation area we are playing catch up and trying to get things back on a schedule here at home. Thank you to all of the families that have reserved a puppy and for the understanding of not getting weekly update pictures and for your prayers and kind words it was appreciated more than you could imagine and thank you for your understanding and patience with me getting behind on my tasks.
