🙏🏼🙏🏼A LITTLE HELP PLEASE 🙏🏼🙏🏼

We got a call today that these two adorable brothers are coming back to us 😔… They were adopted out from us when they were kittens but their human mom passed away and they now have nowhere to go… we are THANKFUL that we were contacted as we will ALWAYS take a C.L.A.W.S. animal back but of course we now have to find room for them…we are “foster home” based, meaning we have NO shelter or location and limited foster homes which are always full 😵‍💫.. we’re hoping with this post and plea for help maybe Cole and Tyson could find their new FOREVER home or at least someone willing to foster them while we work on finding them a permanent home… if you are interested in either FOSTERING or ADOPTING them PLEASE call us! 201-768-0200

YOU CHOOSE! Pick a cat or dog and pick the medical treatment he or she needs! Anything from a vaccine to a spay or neuter surgery… YOU choose where YOUR money goes! On the first of each month we update the registry with the new cats and dogs that have come into our care. Each animal has a list of the vetting items needed… pick one OR more OR choose to cover ALL of the vetting for that animal 🐶🐱💕…
As you may know, as a non-profit organization, we have to raise ALL of the money needed to take care of the animals that come through our group… with YOUR help we can continue to help unwanted and abandoned animals get the medical care they need… help us to help them heal, feel better and to stay healthy and thrive!! This is not just a collage of random dogs… these are the dogs in our care that don’t have their forever home yet 🙁…They’re patiently waiting for their forever families to come scoop them up and show them that life is good! They’re learning lots of stuff in their foster homes and really working hard to become the best they can be in hopes that someone will pick them to be adopted! So instead of “gifting” a dog to someone let’s change that to “gifting a home” to one of these precious little souls.. they didn’t ask to be given up or abandoned they just ended up that way.. we’ve rescued them but the final piece of their journey is up to YOU! ❤️

As we celebrate 55 incredible years of compassion and commitment at CLAWS, we are filled with gratitude and joy. Our journey, which began on December 4, 1969, has been one of hope, resilience, and unwavering dedication to the welfare of animals in northern New Jersey.

Our story is not just about the animals we rescue and care for; it is also about the extraordinary network of volunteers who breathe life into our mission. Without your relentless efforts and boundless compassion, none of this would be possible. We extend our heartfelt thanks to each volunteer who has walked this path with us. Your kindness and dedication have transformed countless lives.

UPDATE!! Thank you to everyone for reaching out! 🙏🏼 We still have not secured a foster home for him…hopefully this update will help clarify everything…
He’s about 50 pounds… he has a rabies vaccine and a distemper vaccine… he is not neutered… we were able to provide him temporary housing but for only 2 days… we did this to avoid him going to the shelter… we have not been able to fully assess him since we only just met him last night… what we did see is that he’s cautious at first but then will warm up quickly… we don’t know if he’s good with cats, kids or other dogs… we are trying to just get him into a secure foster home by tomorrow so we can continue to work with him. We are responding to everyone who has reached out… if you can foster please contact us THANK YOU 🙏🏼 🙂

With no paid employees, 100% of donations CLAWS receives already go directly toward the animals in our care. This is your chance to help us feed, vet and care for all of the cats/kittens/dogs/puppies that come through our organization and help to provide even more life-saving surgeries, and find that many more forever homes.
