This guy is just getting softer and sweeter by the day. He didn't even flinch when I tightened the cinch for the first time. This evening we'll try a real saddle.

Today we used some detangler and combed out his mane, introduced the curry and brush, started picking up his front feet and worked on tying and being caught. He's doing really well for only being here a couple days

I was selected as a trainer for the 2024 Franklin, TN Mustang Heritage Spectacular and horse pickup was yesterday in Tennessee. This was my draw! Devil's Garden gelding #8889 will be gentled, started under saddle and shown at the competition in June. After the competition he and up to around 45 other trained mustangs will be available during the auction. We got back home around 2am this morning and he's settling in nicely. Hes a big guy at around 15.1 hands. 7 years old. Name pending!

The Divide Basin mustang gelding went to his new home today! I can't wait to see how they progress together. He is such a smart, sweet boy and I know they're going to enjoy one another.

The Salt Wells Creek TIP gelding had his first (and second!) haltering, a great first lesson on leading, got introduced to fly spray and also had his curly mane brushed out. It's only his second full day here ❤️

The Salt Wells Creek gelding is looking more filled out already! They tend to lose some weight during their journey east, but they bounce back quickly with the right care.

This two year old gelding also arrived yesterday, he's from the Divide basin herd management area in Wyoming. He's here for TIP training and will be available for 💲1️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ with approved BLM application when his training is completed. He's a super sweet bay that seems to fear nothing, and he should mature around or just under 15 hands. His tag was removed in under 5 minutes after giving him a day to settle in and he's also picking up both front feet, haltering and I've combed out his mane/started grooming.

This sweet, quiet gelding arrived yesterday from the Salt Wells Creek herd management area in Wyoming. He's here for TIP training and will be available for 💲1️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ with approved BLM application when his training is completed. He's a black rabicano and should mature around or over 14 hands, currently he's almost two years old. His tag was removed in under 5 minutes after giving him a day to settle in.
