Join us in congratulating our students who passed their grooming and exercise tests! These students are now qualified to come on their own to work with our lesson horses during winter series. They show they are knowledgeable and capable of keeping the horse safe. Our ponies always love the extra attention and chance to stretch their legs in the cold months.

The following students are also qualified to ride during winter series. These students participated in No Stirrup November and proved they are capable of being independent with the horses. They all show smart solutions to problems and know how to be safe around horses:

Sunday the 5th at 1:30 starts our first day of Winter Series! Come join us tomorrow to learn about quiet bodies. Students will also be able to start their checklist test to be qualified to groom, exercise, or lease a horse during the week.
Now is the best time to jump into secure your spot in the lesson program as winter series students are guaranteed a spot in our regular lessons when they resume. All students enrolled in January will also be entered to win a free clinic or lesson this season!
Bundle up and we will see you tomorrow!

All riders signed up for our winter clinics for the month of January will be entered to win a free spot in our 2025 professional clinics or a free lesson of their choice. Start 2025 right by being our lucky winner!

It’s that time again for our Winter Series! This year we will have our in person clinics on Sundays at 1:30 starting January 5th. Come join us to learn about quiet bodies, how to fall, showmanship, and bits and reins. This is also a time for students to complete their checklist tests. Students passing their test will be able to come during the week to keep our horses entertained and clean during the cold months. Along with your clinic day there is also a virtual lesson on our weekly subject with exercises you can do at home to keep your riding muscles ready.

This series is a great way to get your student started in lessons. We will be learning the fundamental things all riders need to be better equestrians. They are open to anyone not just current riding students. All winter series participants will get first pick of our schedule when riding resumes and spots become limited again. Give us a call and get your student signed up to learn more about horses!

Beautiful weather for a great wrap up to our 2024 show season! Our travel team started our season with good goals and I have to say I’ve seen every one of them succeed! The pattern classes are really coming together. Their showman skills have greatly improved. They are smart riders and supportive teammates. Each rider has grown so much this year and I couldn’t be more proud! Thank you parents for sharing your kiddos and for standing in the heat and the cold to make sure they succeed. What a great year of buckles, high points, grand champions, ribbons, prizes, and lessons learned. I am so excited to see how our 2025 year will develop these amazing riders.

We had a fun busy week filled with school trips! Tuesday Milkshake and Pumpkin went to Harold C. Johnson Elementary to teach about the world of showing dairy goats. Wednesday our two piggie friends went to Grigg’s Road Elementary to meet the 4-H kids there. A big thank you to Megan Hilliard at Happy Hooves and Feathers for letting us borrow these sweet guys! Today Kiwi went to Thrive to help with a class learning about mammals.
We love working with schools to help our friends learn all about the wonderful world of Ag! Lani has a good time helping teach and practicing her leadership skills. All in all it’s one of our favorite things to do ♥️

Travel show team finished their Spartanburg Horseman’s Association show series strong with a lovely day. The growth we witnessed this season is just every trainers dream! These riders have put in the work to make sure they can be competitive in the ring. They are becoming smart riders in their patterns as they fine tune their skills. I see the love they have for their ponies and their team. It really has been a pleasure working with them this year. Thank you parents for a lovely season, it’s been fun. You have fantastic riders and should be so proud! I know I sure am!
