Question. For people living in the mountain areas. Do you have problems with toxicity
From oak leaves or acorns from oak trees? I hear that they can be toxic to horses.

As of today 11/06/2023 JbarL will be under quarantine for the next 15 days 11/22/2023 We have a known case of the VSV virus.After speaking to the veterinarian we believe that it is necessary to control the “in and out” of horses from and to our facility. It is highly recommended to use heavy fly spray and swat to help mitigate this outbreak.
We understand this is a huge inconvenience to everyone,but feel it’s necessary. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me directly.

‼️Please be aware of your horses! This is going around rampant in our areas and fast. Keep an eye on them. It doesn’t matter if your horses never left the property or not it’s carried by flies and also can be transmitted by direct contact and saliva and airborne. If you think your horses have it please contact your vet ASAP! Please share! ‼️

Boarders
Please  keep an eye on your tack rooms and trailer. One of the cats got locked in someone’s trailer for several days. This has happened before they will go in and out of your rooms when the doors are left open.  also, the cats will be spay on the 15th and we would appreciate if no one brought cats to the ranch any longer. thank you everyone.
