IT IS THAT TIME OF YEAR!!!! 🎄
You and your loved ones are invited to join us for "Christmas Zoo Nights." This FREE EVENT is happening in two weeks from Tuesday December 17th to Saturday December 21st. Please come join us and see the wonderful lights while enjoying some complementary hot cocoa. These nights begin at 6 P.M and rumor has it, the one and only Santa Claus will be joining us!

Did you know…
East African Crowned Cranes are omnivores feeding on plants, insects, lizards, and small mammals. They are found in eastern sub-Saharan Africa and south to South Africa.
This endangered species can be found here at Hillcrest Park Zoo! Come say hello to Duke and his exhibit friends Peggy and Luke, the capybaras.

Visitors to Hillcrest Park Zoo may notice the absence of one of our most beloved and substantial animals from its enclosure. Rest assured, Jerrica the Giraffe (top picture) is merely undergoing a temporary transfer to Texas. There, she will be introduced to a compatible breeding partner, Hasani (bottom picture), while her local giraffe barn undergoes refurbishment. Her return is anticipated upon completion of the renovation, accompanied by Hasani!

Today is the day everyone! Our BIGGEST Haunting at Hillcrest is just hours away!
Come dressed in your best and see some amazing zoo animals!

Zoo is CLOSED until event starts! Doors open at 1:00 P.M and close at 4:00 P.M.

Sooner the Tiger will be getting a special treat at 2:00, and all other animals will have some spooky enrichment to play with!

We are SOLD OUT OF PRE-PURCHASED TICKETS! You can still buy your tickets up front today!
If you pre-purchased tickets, please enter through the back entrance on Sycamore. We will be taking cash and card up front.

This Sunday, October 27th, from 1:00 to 4:00. Tickets are $1, available at the zoo or Something Different Grill. Buy early, skip the lines. Back gate entry on Sycamore side if you have your ticket!
