Today is Pet Travel Safety Day!✈ Traveling with your furry friend can be a fun adventure, but it’s important to plan ahead to ensure their safety and comfort. Whether you're hitting the road🚗 or flying to a new destination, here are some essential tips for traveling safely with pets:

👩🏻‍⚕️Visit the Vet Before You Go
Make sure vaccinations are up to date, and ask about any specific health precautions for your destination. If your pet takes medication, stock up on supplies and bring extra in case of delays.

👛Pack a Pet Travel Kit
Bring along everything your pet might need: food, water, bowls, leash, waste bags, grooming supplies, medications, and their favorite blanket or toy. This will help reduce stress and keep your pet comfortable during the journey.

🛑Prepare for Stops and Breaks
If you're traveling by car, plan for frequent breaks to let your pet stretch their legs, drink water, and use the bathroom. Never leave your pet alone in the car, as temperatures can rise quickly and cause heatstroke.
