TOMORROW (Saturday) at Pets Supplies Plus (1235 Shaw Ave, Clovis), we will be holding an in-person adoption event! We will have tons of wonderful dogs & puppies hoping to meet their forever families. 🐾

$5 Friday goes to the underdogs! 🩷

In a world of thousands of homeless pets, our organization takes pride in saving those people don't want. The blind, the medical, and the seniors who have been left behind. With the underdogs comes large expenses. From specialists, dentals, mass removals, biopsies, and supplies while those dogs patiently wait longer then usual for someone to see them the way we do.

Saving the underdogs isn't cheap.

This week we had a blind pomeranian join our organization. This boy is all sweetness with a fluff ball coat. We also had a blind neurological Malinois puppy join the organization. Yet another underdog who found herself on our overflowing shelters urgent list. Today we had yet another senior join our organization. After over 10 years of loyalty her story was going to end at a shelter. On top of the new arrivals, one of our current Paw Squad pups went into a specialist this week for xrays and biopsy. Xrays show that the many lumps on her body can be safely removed, and tests came back negative for cancer. Her first visit was $1400, and her surgery will be around $1500-2500.

Underdogs, like all dogs, deserve bright futures. Dogs like these guys and gals all get a second chance thanks to your continued support. We can't do it without you. Please consider making a donation towards the newest Paw Squad pals.

Anyone can save a happy healthy highly adoptable dog, but it takes someone special to save the underdogs.

Our second annual Casino Night is approaching. We are seeking a volunteer skilled in communication to secure donation items and sponsorships from local and non-local businesses. Last year's silent auction was highly successful, and we require assistance in gathering items to enable us to focus on veterinary visits and animal care. We have had some big expenses over the last month here at Pawsquad. Saving seniors and medical pups can drain the bank account fast. Dentals,Bloodwork, tumor removals, biopsy's and so much more.

We are looking to gather some donated items to hold one of our old faithful yard sales on March 1..

✨️ Tadpole is longer accepting applications!
🐸 Meet Tadpole! 🐸

Tadpole is a 3 year old, 4 pound Pomchi. Don't let this little guys size fool you. He has no problem telling you how he wants things! Tadpole is very shy at first and really bonds to his person. He would love to be someone's one and only. Tadpole loves to play, do the zoomies, and cuddle. He is the perfect combination of playful and cuddly. Tadpole is crate trained and working on potty training. He is such a silly guy who will keep you laughing for hours, and cuddle close to you at night.

Tadpole is good with other dogs and cats, but would love to be the apple of someone's eye. We would like to see him go to a only dog home. Tadpole would do best in a home with no kids. If frightened he can nip. After all it can be scary being a 4 pound guy in a big world. Tadpole needs a secure backyard and someone with tiny dog experience. Tiny dogs are not for everyone!

Tadpole is fixed, UTD on shots, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, and health checked. He does have a beautiful long coat that will require regular grooming. He is located in Clovis California. Although we allow out of area adoptions we require families to pick up in person. We do not ship or transport our dogs.

❤️ Meet Bode! ❤️

This sweet, young boy was found living on the streets but is now ready for a fresh start. Bode is playful, affectionate, and eager to find a family of his own. He’s been working hard in his foster home, learning manners, and what it means to be a good dog, but he’s still looking for a family who can help him continue his growth.

Bode is an active dog who loves playing with his husky friend and would thrive in a home with another energetic dog. He’s also been living with cats, though he may be a little too lively for senior dogs. He’s potty trained and uses a doggie door, and he’ll need a secure yard.

Bode may be shy at first, but once he’s comfortable, he’s a lovebug who enjoys cuddles, attention, and playing with toys. He rides well in the car and is learning how to walk on a leash. He’ll give a bark if he’s unsure of a situation and can be protective of his people, but with time and patience, he’ll settle in and become a loyal companion.

If you're looking for an energetic, loving, and playful dog to join your family, Bode might just be the perfect fit!

💙 Meet Tungsten! 💙

Tungsten is a 1 year old Pomeranian! This boy is all energy! Tungsten loves walks, playing, and is always down for an adventure. Tungsten is crate trained and doing wonderful with his potty training on a schedule. Tungsten is good with older well mannered children, and would prefer to be a only pet. This boy is all love in an adorable fluffy 13 pound body. Tungsten does have a beautiful long coat that will require regular grooming.

Tungsten is fixed, UTD on shots, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, & health checked. He is located in Clovis California and available for adoption. Although we allow out of area adoptions we require families to pick up in person.

🚨 Fosters Needed 🚨

Shadow is an 8 year old small Chihuahua (5lbs) She is currently in the shelter and needs out by Friday. We don't know if she is potty trained or good with cats. What we know is she needs a Valentines hero❤️

We are also looking for a foster for a young poodle mix puppy. A young boy brought home one of his friends dogs babies to an unhappy mom and dad who said NO..

Mr. Noodle is adopted 💙

This sweet boy has imprinted on his new human brother, and they have been inseparable since he arrived on trial. He is a perfect addition to the family and marks their third Pawsquad dog. Happy tails, sweet boy! May your life be full of love and adventures 🐾🐾🏡.

Mickey is still awaiting his happy ever after. Due to his fragile state, local or close surroundings to the Clovis California location adoption approved.

Mickey is a sweet, affectionate little senior who is looking for a compassionate and patient family to provide him with the love and care he needs. After his previous owner could no longer care for him, Mickey took some time to adjust to his foster home, but he has since blossomed into a happy, content boy. He thrives in a calm, loving environment where his needs are met with understanding.
As an older dog, Mickey has developed some quirks that come with age. He is working on his potty training but may never be fully trained. He would thrive in a home where his family can take him out for regular potty breaks. Mickey is adorable with his tongue hanging out the side of his mouth. This does cause some difficulty eating though. He enjoys wet food mixed with water to make it easier to lap up. His foster mom even holds his food bowl off the ground, which helps him eat comfortably.
Mickey is a cuddle bug who loves to sleep in bed with his foster mom, nestled in a warm, fuzzy blanket. He now sleeps through the night but may need time to adjust to a new environment. He is a little sensitive to changes and may whine or cry if left on the floor, in a crate, or in a separate room. Special care must also be taken when Mickey is on the couch or bed, as if he were to jump off, he may land on his head and cause injury.
Though Mickey enjoys his cozy time, he also loves being around people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. He prefers staying home and doesn't care for car rides. He does great when left alone for short amounts of time. Mickey’s will greet you with joy and affection when you return home.
Mickey is a sweet, goofy, and loving boy who deserves a forever home that can accommodate his special needs. He would make a wonderful companion for someone who is looking for a little friend to shower with love and care.

$5 Friday shines a light on our Forever Foster Program 🌈

These two adorable faces have left an indelible mark on our hearts over the last few months.

We said goodbye this month to Bear and Patty. As seniors nearing the end of life, they deserved a farewell far more loving than the confines of our local shelter. Thanks to our program, they spent their final days basking in the love and care of a devoted family. As they departed this world, they felt the safety and warmth of the love that surrounded them. We're deeply grateful to the hospice homes that selflessly open their hearts and homes to give these precious souls the gift of a peaceful passing. By shouldering the heartbreak that comes with this labor of love, they honor the lives of these gentle beings. Rest assured, all medical expenses, supplies, and final costs are covered by our organization.

Please join us in our mission to continue this vital program, a beacon of hope and compassion that celebrates the lives of our beloved seniors.

This sweet and loving girl is the definition of a cuddle bug. She thrives on attention and loves being held, often falling asleep right in your lap. Pika is a great travel buddy too, as she rides well in the car and is fully potty trained. She’s also a social butterfly—she gets along with both dogs and cats, though she’d prefer small, calm dogs to be her companions. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate dog who’ll shower you with love, Pika is the one for you!

Pika is located in Clovis California

12 year old Pomeranian. She has been shaved down do to matting but will have a long coat that requires regular grooming.
She has been fully vetted. Including. Dental, bloodwork and xray. She is currently on vetmedin twice a day for heart issues that will be a life long medication.

🫶 Meet Whimsey! 🫶

This magical 8 month old mixed breed is a little bit of everything. From a long corgi body, ears like a pom, & a wavy aussie coat, one things for sure, she's adorable! Whimsey came to us from a overflowing shelter. When we got word she needed our help, our amazing team jumped into action. Now after being vetted, she is beginning her search of a forever home. 🩷

Whimsey is good with dogs, and older well mannered children. She is crate trained and nailing potty training. Whimsey does have a beautiful long coat that will require regular grooming. Whimsey is smart, loves toys, and is always down to cuddle. This girl is the full package in a 8 pound body!

This sweet senior boy has been placed on the high risk list of our local shelter. (Fresno California ) A foster can save his life!! We don't know how he does with other dogs/cats/pottytrained & all the things. What we do know is he is a sweet and loving boy who deserves a chance at tomorrow .
