Not all pets are the fluffy kind!! We recently cared for a tree frog who passed. No matter what kind of pet you have, we will care for them just like they are our own! Clovis and surrounding areas are under a heat advisory, warning people to stay out of the excessive heat. Don’t forget your furry friends, though! Below are a few tips to keep your animal safe during these hot days!! Also, it’s important to remember to not lock them in your garage without proper cooling and a way to hydrate also! A house’s garage can mimic within 15° of the temperature outside. We see many pet owners during times like this, because animals struggled with the heat! We hope you’ll take good care of your babies so we don’t see you prematurely! Stay cool out there, friends!

Our shop dog Jericho has officially been with us for a year! It’s been a wonderful journey watching him turn into such a wonderful young man.
We empathize with your losses so much because we also hold ours very close to our hearts.
We are so sorry if you ever have to come visit us, but Jericho will be here to offer some kisses on your bad days ❤️

Keep an eye on those sweet outdoor pets! This hot weather we have can really take its toll on them. Unfortunately, we see a lot of animals this time of year, due to heatstroke. Please be sure to provide your pets with plenty of water, shade and look for signs of heatstroke. If you catch it early enough, you can prevent the unthinkable!

It has been REALLY hot lately. If you're feeling the heat, so are your animals, especially dogs you might keep outside. Please keep in mind that their paws can burn and they are susceptible to heat stroke! Stay cool, hydrated and in the shade! ❤️🐾

Distemper is rampant in our area, right now. Several foxes have been caught and were carrying distemper and rabies into yards and parks around town. Please be sure to get your pets vaccinated!! Even if they’re only in your own yard, an infected animal can still spread it to them by getting into your yard, especially at night. While we are always here if/when your pet passes, we truly hope it’s not because they weren’t vaccinated! It’s important, friends!
