Dog Boarding and Daycare I wanted to provide a low-volume boarding service with lots of attention and playtime. After that, it is non refundable.

As a former vet tech I remember the boarding facilities being overcrowded and pets getting very little attention. We recommend owners bring their dog(s) bedding and/or blankets, food, and favorite toy. These things help reduce stress and anxiety due to the sense of familiarity while not at home. All dogs will have e

xtra opportunities for potty breaks compared to regular boarding. Most dogs in normal boarding situations are usually able to go outside between 8am and 6pm, then must hold their bladders and wait until 8 the next morning. Since this is a home-based facility, dogs will have extra potty breaks up until 9pm. All dogs are required to be up to date on vaccines (including Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus & Coronavirus) as well as having flea/tick prevention. If a dog arrives for boarding with fleas, a Capstar flea pill will be administered for an additional $10 charge. New Policy for new clients and same day cancelations / no-call/no-shows:

Happy Dogs will be requiring a 30% deposit on reservations from first-time clients. A full refund will be given for cancelations 3 days or more from the reservation start date. Same Day Cancelations and No-Call/No-Shows will have a $40 fee either billed, or added to the next reservation. This is due to the unlikely ability to fill that spot the same day. Well-established clients need not to worry about the deposit, but the same day cancelation/ no-call/no-show applies to all. Remember folks, I only have 5 kennels. So losing a reservation at the last minute without being able to fill the spot hurts.
