If you have a sick animal or an emergency situation, it is necessary that you call the clinic prior to arriving to make sure there is availability to see that animal. Dr. Kay only has so many hours in a day and there are certain scheduled days for surgery, and when she has to stop to take care of sick animals, it puts her behind on her surgeries and makes her day much longer , we appreciate everyone’s help in this matter as well as your business! Thank you!

Johnsongrass Toxicity for Livestock

Toxins:
Prussic acid (cyanide) and nitrates.

Symptoms:
Salivation, labored breathing, tremors or convulsion, death.

Prevention:
Use appropriate stocking rate.
DO NOT graze Johnsongrass infested pastures when plants are...
- drought stressed or receive rain after drought
- after heavy nitrogen fertilization
- after a recent frost.

Johnsongrass Identification
- Large triangular seedhead
- Broad leaf blades, white mid-rib
- Often has brown spots on leaves

We recently have been going through unpaid invoices and we have discovered numerous accounts that have been unpaid for a year or longer, mainly on the small animal side. We are starting to collect on these accounts and to avoid small claims court we request that you pay your account off or make arrangements to make a payment plan with Debbie. We have several customers with addresses that are not current and may not be receiving their bill. It is important that you call and update your contact information to avoid any miscommunication and/or legal action. We appreciate all of our customers and we are posting as a courtesy in hopes that we can collect without any further actions.
