Today July 15, was a hard day. It’s Stella’s 9th Birthday. We are heartbroken our girl missed another Birthday. There are no words to describe how much we miss her. Stella is more than just a “pet” or “dog” to us. She is our family, our fur baby. My daughter grew up with Stella, they are besties and those two have a remarkable bond that I’ve never experienced before. She misses her best friend and doggie terribly.
This time of year Easter egg hunts are a big hit at our house. I would hide eggs and Stella and my daughter would go find them together. Stella loved how excited my daughter got when she would find the eggs, running with her all around the yard. It was the cutest thing to see.
This summer Stella will be 9….my daughter and Stella’s birthdays are only 5 days apart and she’s already asking me if Stella is going to miss their birthdays again. Stella’s canine brother Guinness turns 10 next week…it breaks my heart that he’ll be celebrating without his little sister. Stella loved celebrating birthdays especially his because she would get the perks (Doggie cake, ice cream and new toys) without having to wear the “birthday hat”. Yes, each of them has their own bday hat they wear on their special day.
Stella is a big part of our family. The house is so empty without her. She’s loved and missed so much and we just want her home. 💔😢

Please, keep looking and searching: online, in yards, fields, parks, woods, homes, someone walking her. She could be anywhere by now. A family could have her, maybe not realizing she’s missing. She could have traveled far away, on her own or moved by someone.

Our sweet girl has been missing for 15 months. We have been looking non stop, have done everything asked of us from our search teams and we won’t stop looking. Hi friends! Sadly, we have no updates. Stella is still missing. It’s been very quiet the past month, the phone has been silent for way too long. It’s been 14 months since our sweet girl went missing, 418 painful nights. I prayed hard we would find her before Christmas. I haven’t taken our tree down, as her presents are still wrapped and I’m having a hard time knowing she’s not here to open them. Our hearts are still hurting 😔 Stella’s favorite tiny human continues to struggle and it’s the most painful and hardest thing for a parent to experience. There are many times I need to take a deep breath, put on a smile and pray for strength to hold myself together.
Every night before I tuck my daughter in bed, we pray with her Stella stuffy asking God, St. Francis and St. Anthony to help bring our girl safely home . Afterwards, my daughter will tell her Stella stuffy (as if the real Stella can hear her) stories of fun things they do together reminding Stella that she loves her giving her stuffy a big hug and as she starts to cry, she says to me “Mommy I miss Stella.” Guinness, Stella’s canine brother, comes to cheer her up by giving her big wet kisses which always makes her giggle. But he’s missing his sister terribly too. He’s not the same without her and he’s constantly looking for her wherever we go. 😢

Stella is out there somewhere and we need a sighting or a lead. As we begin 2022, we are starting fresh and continuing to do everything possible to bring our girl home. Our faith and hope is stronger than ever and we’ll never stop looking.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted an update, although I still am getting leads, I haven’t received any confirmed sightings. My girl, Stella is still missing and our team continues to look endlessly for her. November 16th will be a year she’s been missing, one whole year, I’m having a hard time processing that. My heart is broken 💔I desperately want to find her and pray everyday that I’ll get our miracle, whether it’s seeing her while out looking or getting that call I’ve been longing to receive.
As we transition to the colder weather please continue to help us find our girl. Her Canine brother, tiny favorite human and her mommy and daddy miss her terribly. We 💗 you Stella! 😔😩. She’s out there somewhere and I’m praying we find her before winter. We are keeping the faith and never giving up on our girl.🙏

How can you continue to help?

➡️First and foremost, please still spread the word that Stella is missing!!

➡️Scan wooded areas during your travels, leaves are falling making it easier to see through.

➡️ Do you hunt or know of anyone that does? Reach out to them, tell them about stella missing and ask them to keep an eye out when in the woods and on on their trail cameras. Call 717-201-1044 ASAP if they spot her. Also, let them know if they spot a weird lady wearing safety vest wondering in the woods, that could be me🙈

➡️Temperatures are getting really cold at night, do you have any decks or other shelter areas she could be hiding to keep warm?

➡️Do you hear any abnormal suspicious activity outside at night, perhaps your dog is barking excessively? She could be around your property.

Hi Everyone. I’m sorry for not posting more often, it’s been hectic lately. I wish I had more news to share other than “there really isn’t much of an update” 😔. I have received a few leads since the last post and the leads give us hope she’s alive, ok and still close by. I’m still out everyday investigating areas, checking/moving our equipment and filling food stations.
I know she’s out there and is determined to find home to be with her favorite tiny human, her canine brother and mommy/daddy who all miss her SO much. She’s a Regal Doberman, she’s a fighter, she’s strong, she’s extremely intelligent and one heck of an amazing pup. I understand she’s also in survival mode; scared, focusing on her safety/food/water/shelter which has to be extremely exhausting leaving her emotionally/mentally drained. I know there’s a good chance she won’t recognize me if she sees me from a distance and even my scent might not come to her at first but I’m hoping by continuing to look and be out there maybe one day I’ll see her. I am longing to see her sweet face again and I’m hoping that day will be soon. 🙏

Wherever you are sweetie, keep fighting as I know you can do it. We will find you, or perhaps you’ll be the one to find us! Either way, you will be home soon eating all the treats in the world cuddling with Bubs and your favorite little girl. I love you so much my sweet Stella! 😘💗🙏

Hi Friends! In light of the flooding from Ida we are worried our girl might need our help. We haven’t had any sightings the last couple weeks and she hasn’t shown up on our cameras or feeding stations.
1. Does anyone have a drone and is available anytime tomorrow September 8th to help search along the creeks where possible sightings have been previously reported. Please text me ASAP 717-201-1044 if you are able to help us.

2. We are asking for able bodied volunteers to help us look a long the creeks and structures that were flooded out and have debris. If possible, you will be in teams since the areas are treacherous. These are in the areas where possible sightings have been previously reported.

I know this is crazy last minute but Since Storms are in the forecast tomorrow (late afternoon and evening) our first search will be TOMORROW MORNING starting as early as 8am.

If you would like to help TOMORROW please text Erica at 717-201-1044 so I can coordinate teams locations and times.
Walking sticks, boots, flashlights, first aid kits, should be brought along with you. I will also have some extra supplies on hand.

Hey friends! Sadly, I do not have much to report regarding our girl. I still receive calls but fewer than I’d hoped for the past couple weeks. Our leads are helping us connect the dots and I honestly believe she is still close. The leads I am receiving are all mostly at night which makes it hard for anyone to grab a picture. She’s unbelievably smart to say the least. Rest assured, I am out looking for her, checking/adjusting cameras and leaving food out every day. We are still working with professionals and we are constantly changing things up. Every dog is different so what might work for one, won’t for another. My patience is really being tested but my faith and hope is and will always be strong. Recently, I’ve been having dreams of her just showing up at my back door standing there as if she was never missing. What a miracle that would be! I know she’s close, I’m just praying she gets the courage to come out and be seen or let a human help her OR show up at my back door. She can do it!🙌🏻🙏🤞🏻

Hi Friends! Yesterday was 9 months since our girl went missing. It hit me hard. It’s been 9 months since I’ve seen my sweet girl, received her kisses, heard her sass when she wanted to play ball and the list goes on. I can’t describe how much I miss her. I know she’s so close and trying so hard to find home. I still am getting a few calls/tips weekly and I am out daily filling feeding stations and adjusting our equipment. Even though I haven’t been updating much, im still out every day. There isn’t much to update but I do feel we are getting closer each day. We might not disclose every step we are taking but are continuing to adjust things and are doing everything possible to get our girl home. I’m so happy Blu is safe and finally home. 💙

We are asked frequently, why aren’t you sharing details and sighting locations? Why are you are not doing search parties? Or calling her name?

Please read Blu’s story as the beginning reminds me of what Stella’s journey has been. Stella wants to come home. She’s exhausted. She’s hungry. But shes extremely skittish, scared and keeps moving, moving fast and will continue moving because she’s terrified of Humans. We (humans) are her #1 Predator. She’ll keep moving and this is very dangerous for her.

“Lost dog recovery is so counter intuitive to all the things you think are the right things to do. Chasing, searching, search parties, calling for the dog, these are all things that will invite a flight response in a frightened, skittish dog.”

What does Stella need? She needs it quiet. No disturbance. No unfamiliar new scents around.
Not being pursued. No one calling her name. Absolutely no search parties. If we can do that, this will allow her to settle, allow her to take her guard down slightly and relax a little. Allow her to slow down and find our food sources we have out. Trust the food source and stay. Please help us let her settle. Happy 8th Birthday to our sweet baby girl Stella!! Today was bittersweet for us as we were hoping we’d celebrate her big day together however, we know this is her journey and for whatever reason today wasn’t the day of her grand return home. That’s ok as I’m a strong believer that things always happen for a reason and know wherever our girl is she felt our energy and celebrated in her own way. Yesterday my daughter and I randomly stopped into a store and stumbled upon these dog name magnets….we were blown away when we found both “Stella” and Guinness” magnets, how randomly crazy is that?!? Of course we bought them 🥰 Today We sang happy birthday to her and our “Stella Star” and told Stella all the fun things we’ll do when she’s home. We love you to the moon and back sweetie and hope you had a wonderful day. Xoxo 😘💗🐾🎉🎈
