I work with people every day who are afraid to ask for the sale, the date, help with something, etc. If you don't ask, you will never receive what you want.
We don't grow up with a fear of rejection. The only fear we have as children is falling and loud noises. The rest are conditioned through life experiences. Don't let learned negative responses define you and stop you from getting what you want. Think of rejection as a redirection to something better and perhaps you will gain more confidence to ask. The worst thing someone can say is NO. Big deal. Make it a game if you want. Ask away and see how many "No's" you get before you receive a "YES!". Don't let the fear of rejection or failure stop you from living a life you LOVE, doing what you LOVE and/or with a person you LOVE. Go make it happen! XOXO
