A very successful and fun Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show! Congratulations to all of our riders!

🏆Ali Frazer and Fashionista MFH clean swept the Small Hunter division, resulting in champion!

🏆Jess Kolbay had her first horse show with us! Jess and Lone Ranger were reserve champion in the Beginner Rider in a very large and competitive group.

🏆Caroline Benham and Fashionista MFH had great ribbons in the Low Children’s hunter with their best rounds yet!

🏆Sam Brown and Reign in Paris moved up to the 2’ Beginner Rider and had some of their best rides yet!

🏆Ali Frazer and Lone Ranger played in the .65 jumpers for the first time and received 2, 4, and 5th out of 40!

“Demi” is an adorable 16.1 mare looking for a second rider! Demi has recently made a career change from evening to the hunters, and is taking to it quite well!

She is very quiet on the flat, but some days can get strong over fences. She is not spooky and will hack out on the buckle. She is beautiful to look at and sweet as can be. We love having her in the barn!!!

We have a very special mare available for an on property partial lease!

“Winnie” is an aged (don’t tell her!) 16.1 KWPN mare. She has more stamps on her passport than most people, a show record longer than your CVS receipt, and has been through most of the top programs in the world (not even just the US!). She is kind, safe, and beautiful to boot!

Winnie is looking for a rider that would like to FLAT ONLY and trail ride! While she is relatively simple and super safe, she would prefer a rider who is not a dead beginner. She appreciates a rider with a quiet seat- just because we prefer not to ignite her jumper mode!!

We absolutely adore this horse and are looking for someone who will love her as much as we do.

Great facility with nice indoor, outdoor, and tons of hacking right from our property. We have a wonderful barn family and would be happy to have another addition!

Starting the search for a new assistant/manager as ours is starting her own business! Start date is within the next 60 days. You will be trained appropriately.

A great opportunity for someone looking to join a boutique hunter/jumper program. We typically have between 10-12 horses. Ideal candidate already has some experience working with show horses. Must be reliable, responsible, attentive to detail, and not afraid of hard work or working in less than ideal weather conditions. We are looking for someone interested in staying with us long term.

Duties:
-Weekday pm barn chores (No stalls. Turn out/bring in, feed, make grain, blanket changes, water troughs, etc.)
-Optional weekend AM and PM shifts
-Grooming and assisting at horse shows
-Some grooming/tacking at home
-Riding and teaching some beginner lessons available depending on ability

Hours:
-Willing to work with you on days, but must be available 5-6 days a week. Week days are 3pm-8pm (1pm-6pm in the winter). Weekends are mornings and afternoons.

Compensation:
-Option to bring a horse or lease one of ours
-Good weekly pay
-Ability to make extra cash: clipping, grooming tips, braiding, etc.

Location: Unionville/Coatesville, PA

For your consideration, otherwise we are very happy to keep him as long as we can; Birkenhofs Cooper. 2014 Hanoverian Gelding by Commissario.

Standing a little over 16h, with 4 white socks up to his knees, and the most boopable, kissable snip on the nose that you have ever seen!

We believe this to be the ULTIMATE move up horse. Seriously over qualified child/adult jumper type. He has a mile long record anywhere from the .80m to the 1.30m. He is the perfect type for a kid coming off of a pony and looking to move up the levels. Equally as uncomplicated for a competitive or timid adult job, however he is a KICK ride. A lot more kick than pull! He is ridable, adjustable, and light in the bridle, just takes up a good bit of leg.

While he is fun and competitive in the jumpers all day long, Cooper has all the style and quality to be a serious competitor in the equitation ring. Light and uphill at the canter, will carry the exact same pace from start of the course to finish. He loves to be slow and stylish if we let him! Currently his price reflects that of a competitive jumper, but as he gains some more knowledge and experience in the equitation, this is subject to change.

He will be available to be tried at Swan Lake Mid-Summer Stroller as well as HITS-on-the-Hudson VI. Outside of that, we are based in Chester County, PA.

The whole B&B team had a wonderful day at the 2024 Thoroughbred Show!

🏆Sam and Paris started our day off with top ribbons in the cross rail hunters out of over 20! We are incredibly proud of this pair and excited for their show season together.

🏆Sid and Jenny were champion in the green hunters in a large competitive group, winning the hack and an over fences class. This pair was also third in the hunter classic! We are very excited for this young horse’s future- hard to believe he is just 4!

🏆Demi and Megan had their first show since joining our team in May and we couldn’t be more proud. This was their first time in the hunter ring together and even received some great ribbons out of a competitive group.

As always, special thanks to our wonderful team that makes everything happen behind the scenes! We are so lucky to work with such great people and horses on a daily basis.

We have another wonderful transformation here at B&B.

Assistant, Cristina Fizzano’s horse, Antares came over from Europe in rough shape. We are so glad that this talented young boy wound up in our care and has developed into a lovely horse over the past several months!

Watch for this talented boy in the 6 year old jumpers this show season!

Another great show with the best team!

Sam competed in her first show ever on our wonderful teacher, Paris. They took home champion in beginner rider! Sam has been working incredibly hard towards showing since coming to us last summer- congrats Sam and Paris!!

Caroline had a wonderful first show with our team. She and Fashionista MFH proved to be a wonderful match after some excellent trips in the pre children’s hunter and bringing home a win in the hack! We see lots of tri colors in this pairs future!

Looking forward to another full weekend of showing next week!
