Our hearts are full of love for our newest little doodle...Meet Shelby! She is a red mini Goldendoodle and we are adding her to our breeding program if all goes well. The name for this little pup has a special meaning to us. One of the big reasons we named her Shelby is because she is from the mountain area, just about an hour from Shelby, NC. With everything that has happened recently in our NC mountains, I found it important to connect her name to that area. Another big reason for her name is because I have had numerous positive experiences in my life with the people named Shelby. Not only were a couple of my favorite students named Shelby, BUT it’s also the name of one of the best coworkers I have ever had in my teaching career.
We were a little delayed in getting her due to the recent devastation from the hurricane, but she was worth the wait and we can’t wait to watch her grow!

Sweet Maui Update:
Many of you know that we added this sweet girl to our home a few weeks ago. Our plan was to add her to our breeding program eventually as another mini Goldendoodle.
Unfortunately, due to what we now believe to be congenital issues, we will not be breeding her. However, she will continue to stay within our family as we have all fallen completely in ❤️ with her! I mean, just look at her 🥰

So, one leaves, another comes! While Thomas is off exploring the world and traveling some, we figured why not add a new little friend to the fam. Introducing this precious mini Goldendoodle, Maui. She will be about 20 lbs and will be a great addition to our lives and our breeding program at TH.EM Doodles.
