FairyTails is now accepting new customers (small dogs 1 to 25 lbs max).
(Restrictions apply)
All customers have to maintain a pre-booked scheduled appointment. When you contact us with the breed we will let you know our requirements on time span. All dogs must be up to date on vaccines. Puppies must have the complete series of puppy shots completed and their rabies and bordetella shots before first visit.

Yall...I wanted a before and after of sweet Annie today... I got the before (that's on some good prep work 😉) and then came time for an after.... She knew she was done. She had been a very good girl for her spa day and grooming. (She's had a previous pelvis injury, so she can't stand long or her legs get tired.) We go slow and at her pace 💜. But those smiles! She was so excited bc her mom was there for pickup, and she was ready to go home to snooze 😴. I just kept clicking the shutter button and figured I'd end up with a good one... I ended up with just the funniest and cutest faces ever... so everyone enjoy your daily dose of giggles...

Good morning, everyone!
I, Tammy, just wanted to give a quick reminder of our hours. We take our first dog in at 8 and close when our last dog is picked up. Pets are to be picked up within an hour of being notified of them being completed.
We use our person cell phones for our business and therefore don't have our appointment books with us when we leave the shop. Please don't text our phones before 8 a.m for appointments or after 3 pm. Unless it's to notify us of cancelation of an appointment. After hours we are OFF! (Lol)
Weekends, we are closed.
Text or call for an appointment Tuesday-Friday 8 am- 3 pm and we will be glad to schedule your furbabies spa day. If you are trying to contact us before or after these hours, we will not respond til we are in the shop and have our date book.
If you are scheduled an appointment and cannot come, please give us an 24hrs notice to avoid a No Show fee. Everyone's time is valuable and should be respected.
We will work with anyone who let's us know pre-hand.

We are able to open the books for new small dogs. We require schedules to be maintained, no longer than 8 weeks apart. If you don't come within 12 weeks, you are no longer considered a "client". We take appointments from 8 til 11, and groom as they come in. Dogs are due to be picked up within 1 hour of being notified of their completed grooms. If you are late for drop off, anything over 15 minutes is considered a no call no show. No call No Shows are charged half the price of your missed appt in order to rebook. Any questions or to inquire about anything send us a private message.

Wanted to reach out and thank everyone for the calls, texts, messages, understanding, and especially patience given to us this week. We lost my aunt this week. My sister (this is Heather, so Tammy's other daughter) has been in the critical care unit in augusta after being life flighted from Metter. We appreciate everything. Thank yall!

Please be respectful of our time. We do NOT board and we do NOT babysit after your dogs groom. If you request us to be quick and we move your dog ahead of everyone else then you need to be quick about your pickup. There are fees to be added to everyone not picked up within 1 hour of being told your dog is ready to be picked up. No exceptions. $25

Due to the season change and my requirements of maintaining a schedule, people think they can no show appointments.
I was charging a $25 fee for everyone who no showed and appt.
That is unfair to those who pay $50 for a groom and others who pay $65 to $75 only having to pay $25.
Therefore anyone who NCNS an appointment will be charged 1/2 the price of a full groom to be added back to my books.
This makes it fair for everyone.
Everyone's life is busy with work and activities! There is no excuse for not letting us know!

No Call No Show Fees will be as followed!
It was $25 .
Since that is half the price of my starting grooms it is only fair that if you NO Call No Show an appointment you will be charged half the price of the missed groom.
After today when 2 clients No Call No Showed with each one having 2 dogs with appointments. (Translation: 4 dogs NCNS).
I have only EVER asked that if you can't make your appointment, that you simply call or text 24 hrs in advance.
I'm a very small (by choice) grooming shop and if you don't show up, guess what, 2 people don't get paid and spots have been missed that could have been filled if given the opportunity!
I don't want to sound like a broken record but...
It is just that!

I've been doing this for, now, over 40 years. I'm getting tired of repeating the same thing every couple of months.
Maybe it's time for a change!

This is just a friendly reminder of how we operate and how grooming is in general...
*everyone must maintain a schedule with Fairy Tails. Whether you are on a 4,6,8, or anywhere in between, a schedule must be maintained (doodles and large furry breeds require a 4 week schedule).
**If you have not been to us in 3 months or longer, you are no longer considered a client/customer. We are not accepting new clients at the time.
*If you have to reschedule and we have to work you in because of everyone prebooking and our days being full, we can sometimes work you in another day sooner than your next appt. With that being said, that doesn't mean your dog will sit in a kennel for 5 hours and not get touched. We work them in between dogs on the book. We take into consideration who is on the books for that day, so it's all according to the days and what other breeds we have those days. I may have days I can fit a small dog but not a large doodle, for example.
*small dog haircuts we ask for at least 1.5-2 hours per dog (from start to finish, not drop off to pickup)
*large dogs we ask 3- 3.5 hours (from start to finish, not drop off to pickup)(some it doesn't take that long and some take longer, just according to dog, hair, and behavior)
***** GROOMING AND BEING AT THE GROOMERS MAKES YOUR DOG TIRED. THEY ARE NOT AT HOME LOUNGING AROUND ALL DAY, THEY ARE IN A DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENT AND MOST OF THE TIME THEY SLEEP WHILE THEY ARE HERE WAITING, BUT THEY ARE STAYING MORE ALERT BECAUSE OF DIFFERENT SMELLS, SIGHTS, AND SOUNDS. ALSO THE GROOMING PROCESS IN GENERAL. THEY HAVE TO BE BATHED (STANDING), THEY HAVE TO BE BLOW DRIED (MOST STAND), THEY HAVE TO BE BRUSHED (STANDING) THEY HAVE TO BE GROOMED (STANDING). ALL OF THIS WEARS THEM OUT AND THEY WILL SLEEP WHEN THEY GET HOME.... Im sure everyone is wondering why I'm saying this. There's a reason.
* We take in our dogs from 8 til 11. If you want an 11 o'clock appt, you can't expect to be done within a shorter time frame (unless previously discussed,and there would be a rush fee for needing to go ahead of others). If you need to be in and out, that's what our 8am appts are for....
*We will NOT dematt, if the matts are tight and there's a lot, we won't dematt. If you can't keep them free of matting in between your appts, then we can't do it in the short time they are here.
* We text our appts to everyone. If you don't confirm your appt text, then it's not on the book. We do this because if there is a NO CALL NO SHOW, there's a NCNS fee, and it's $25.
*When we notify you of your dogs' groom being over, they have to be picked up within an hour (unless you notify us of a conflict in time PRIOR to the day of drop off)
*ALL DOGS MUST BE PICKED UP BY 230 (unless previously discussed, and there's a few days a week, we just can't). If we have to keep them longer, and it's not previously discussed, a dog sitting fee will be applied per 30 minutes they are here.
*If your appt is at 9 and you show up at 9:15, without calling first that you're running a few MINUTES (not hours) late, you're considered a NCNS, and the fee will be applied and you'll have to reschedule.
*DO NOT OPEN THE SHOP DOOR. We have dogs that run loose in the shop with us, and that puts the risk of them getting out.
**FLEAS** If you know your dog has fleas, please let us know at drop off so we can't put them straight in the tub. A fee will be applied to your total for the extra products and time it takes for flea treatment for your pet.
*PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE potty your dogs before dropping them off with us. You can get out of your car here and walk them around if you don't want to do it at home before you leave. If we keep getting dogs that empty their bladders as soon as they get here, we are going to start adding a fee for that, too. We don't have time to stop and continually clean up morning p*e puddles and morning poops (we can tell the difference).
*If your dog is on a medicated shampoo, read the label. Most medicated shampoos are required to be used weekly or sometimes more often. So if they only come once every 8 weeks and don't get bathed at home, the medicated shampoo is a waste of time and money, just being honest.
*We document everything on your dog. If it's bad, we take pictures. To cover us, we will start notifying you thru text (we don't delete texts) and/or sending pics.

Pictures are so cherished when you lose a furbabie! I'm thankful Randi has these memories on her tablet. Monty has been gone for years now but he is thought of daily and missed so much!

Going forward Heather will NOT be offering pickup and delivery. Shes done it free of charge and gas along with everything else is too expensive. Our earliest drop off is 7:45 and pickup is by 2:45. Remember if you are 15 minutes late you are considered a no call no show. $25 fee per dog for no call no shows. Hope everyone has a great ending to their week.
