Looks like we have a perfect weather forecast for this weekends Classic Country Horse Show!

We are excited to welcome a new food vendor, "Sisu Kitchen", to our show! As an added bonus, every time you buy food from them, give them your exhibitor number, they will mark it on the back of a raffle ticket and we will draw for a FREE STALL for that day. Come hungry, their food is great! Please make them feel welcome 🙂

There is a block party from 11am-11pm behind the grandstand, so the fairgrounds has directed exhibitors to come in the main gate and follow the signs for "horse trailers" to get you all to the horse show area.

Celeste and little Tilly, will have the show office open by 8am.

We hope you are excited to attend the last show on the circuit this weekend !!!!

We would like to remind exhibitors that you may ONLY arrive AFTER 3pm on Friday. If you arrive earlier, there is a $150 fine payable to the fairgrounds. Please, let's all respect the policy for this show. Thank you 🙂

Just a heads-up for those attending the Classic Country Horse Show this coming weekend. It seems the guest speaker for the local GOP fundraiser on Sunday is Congress Woman Elise Stefanik. The fairgrounds is unaware of any security protocol this event will have. I don't know if we will be stopped at the main gate by their security or not.

There are often other events going on at the fairgrounds the same time we have our horse shows.

For this one, you cowgirls and cowboys might want to leave your six shooters home though. 😉

Notes from Classic Country show secretary:

Classic Country exhibitors…don’t forget to send your entries in by Saturday 8/16 to eligible for the flat rate or avoid the $10 late entry fee if choosing the ala carte option.
In order to be considered a ‘pre-entry’ to take advantage of either of these savings options your entry must include:
*a fully completed entry form (with signatures),
*health paperwork (if a horse showed in the covered pen Friday, Saturday or Sunday at the Cobleskill Fair your paperwork was already seen so no need to send additional copies),
*payment (check made payable to Classic Country or PayPal as indicated in the prize list)

Entries can be snail mailed to the address in the prize list (postmarked by Saturday 8/16, please DO NOT send via a method signature is required), or emailed to [email protected] by 9 pm 8/16 (all attachments MUST be scans, no pictures of paperwork will be accepted). Please do not duplicate entries by snail mailing and emailing as that creates confusion.

STALLS will be tagged on Thursday afternoon for those exhibitors who have requested a specific stall location, otherwise you may choose from any open/unoccupied stall. If you wish to have stalls tagged please reach out via email prior to Thursday morning. Camper tags will be issued at the office when you check in and must be displayed for show/fairgrounds staff to see easily.

The show office will be open by 7:30 am Saturday morning, please be sure to make any post entries into the showmanship and halter classes early so that we can start on time and have accurate info to our announcer for those classes.

For many years the Horses,Horses,Horses show has captured the hearts of fair goers. This morning we are saddened to learn of the passing of owner and the unforgettable talent of Lisa Dufresne, we pray peace and comfort for her family in this difficult time. I am proud to call her a friend (Linda V.) Rest in Peace Lisa.
