Georgio update!
We did it! Tomorrow is the day!
Georgio gets to come HOME! 🏡🐷🩵
We went from a nearly lifeless piglet, to a lively, curious, ball of snorts and snoots in less than a week. Driving Georgio to Cornell on Saturday night was a scary journey. We were checking frequently to see if he was even still breathing. We finally gave up on that and he became a lap pig for the rest of the drive. He was THAT lifeless.
When we got to Cornell, we got more discouraging news. He was in bad shape and it wasn’t guaranteed that he would make it through the night. But this spunky boy pulled through and continued to get better by the day. 💪🏻🐷
He’s eating, drinking, passing manure, and is back to his perky, bright self. We’re still waiting on one last f***l float to see if any further deworming is needed. Other than that, Georgio has a clean bill of health!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for being the army behind Georgio’s healing and for rooting for our little dude. He made quite the impression on everyone at Cornell and I’m not sure his doctors will give him up. 😜🐷🩵
