We had such a great time at our field trip to the Wolf Mountain Nature Center yesterday! Thank you to everyone who came and to the Wolf Mountain Nature Center for having us. We really enjoyed watching the animals open their presents!

Hi everyone! I'm Camryn Twiss and I’m Vice President of Canine Club. I’m a Junior in the Canine Training and Management program. I’m from Theresa, New York and I have 3 English Springer Spaniels and 1 cat at home. Thor 10 (black & white), his son Bailey 9 (liver & white), and Clover 8 months (liver tri-color roan). Autumn the cat is 12. A fun fact about me is that I have 9 tattoos and one of them is a portrait of two of my dogs that have passed away❤️ I'm so excited for what's to come for Canine Club!

Hi! My name is Sarah Alaimo and I have the pleasure of being the Canine Club Advisor! I work in Admissions as an Admissions Counselor and I absolutely love it, I'm entering my 3rd year! I have 2 amazing dogs: Toby and Lily! Toby is a 1 year old golden retriever/husky poodle mix & Lily is an 8 month old labradoodle; they are my world! In my free time, you can find me with my dogs, with friends enjoying local businesses & the farmers market, shopping or at the gym! I'm so excited to share another year with the amazing Canine Club!

Hello everyone! My name is Emily Thurber and I am the President of Canine Club! I’ve been part of Canine Club since the Fall of 2019 and spent last year as the PR Officer. I am a Senior in the Canine Training and Management program. I’m from Troy, NY (about an hour East of Coby) where I have 2 Siberian Huskies named Shadow and Maia! A fun fact that you may not know about me is that I have been a vegetarian for almost 7 years now! I am so excited to get started with the club so the other officers and I can tell you all of our ideas that we have been coming up with for the semester! See you soon! 🐾

Hello everypawdy! We have some great news! Canine Club would like to invite you to our very first meeting of the semester on Monday, September 13 at 6pm! The location is still TBD but we will let you know via email (plus a reminder on socials) well in advance! We cannot wait to see you all again and meet some new faces as well! We have so many ideas and are incredibly optimistic for our club this semester. Let the countdown begin! 🐾

In the meantime, on our socials this week we will be highlighting our officers so you can get to know them a little better prior to our first meeting!

*It should be noted that we’re currently looking for people to fill the roles of secretary and PR, so keep that in mind!*

Welcome back everyone! We hope you are having a pawsome first day back at Cobleskill! We are so excited to start the semester and share all the ideas we’ve been thinking about all summer. Once we know what regulations will be in place for clubs this semester, we will start reaching out to you guys to vote on days and times for our meetings! We want to thank everyone who has stuck with us through the difficult time that has been this pandemic and give a warm welcome any new furiends that may have joined us! The 2020-2021 academic year is officially OVER! We did it! Canine Club would like to congratulate everyone for completing such a crazy, strange year and especially to our graduates! So, congratulations and best of luck to all those who are graduating, including our very own President and Secretary! We know you will all do great things in the future. To everyone returning (or new) to campus in the Fall, we can’t wait to see you for what we hope will be a great year! We are staying paw-sitive and we hope you do, too! See you soon! 🐾

Hello everyone! We hope you had a great weekend and a happy Easter if you celebrated! So, unfortunately it looks like we’ll be staying at Phase 1 for student engagement until further notice. This means that our meetings will have to remain via Zoom for the time being. We know this isn’t ideal as we LOVE meeting in person so we can see you guys, talk to you face-to-socially distanced-face, and of course to hang out with our Program Dogs. We are going to try our best to still make our online meetings as fun/interesting as we can for you guys. SO with that being said, we WILL be meeting this Tuesday, April 6 from 6:15 to 7:15pm via Zoom! Please come if you want to take a break from your Week 10 blues to talk about dogs! Due to the school’s recent announcement that all activities will be remote for today and tomorrow, Canine Club will be meeting ONLINE tomorrow, Tuesday March 30 at our regular time, 6:15-7:15pm. This means we won’t be able to have the Easter celebration we were planning, nor will there be a dog present, but we will do our best to make the most of it! There will still be an interesting presentation and a fun Kahoot, so we’d really like it if you joined us! A link for the meeting will be sent via email in time, so keep checking those inboxes!
