On Thursday, Feb. 20, a fire tore through what Philadelphia police called "a pop-up horse stable" located along the 5800 block of Eastwick Avenue. Two horses unfortunately passed away, but Fiona was one who made it out alive, barely.

Fiona's entire back was covered in burns from the fire and thanks to the PSPCA, she has been slowly rehabbing at Twin Ponds. Fiona has the sweetest soul, she nickers for us in turnout and her progress has impressed us all.

Update on Fiona! After two months, Fiona has gained a great amount of weight and is getting turnout overnight. She continues to get daily burn care including a special bath and ointment application but is making strides in full recovery.

The aqua treadmill works wonders for all horses. This testimonial speaks volumes to what horse owners are seeing in their horses.

My horse wasn’t lame, but something was off—he was girthy and uncomfortable. After exploring everything from pole work to bodywork, we made progress, but it wasn’t until we found Twin Ponds Farm and their aqua treadmill that things truly changed. The water work quickly loosened and strengthened his body, helping us get back in the tack with confidence. The issues we faced last fall are gone, and I truly believe the aqua treadmill was the missing piece. Huge thanks to the Twin Ponds team and Sara Stone. I highly recommend this as a regular part of training, not just rehab.
