Congratulations Holly on your completion of the Honors Training program at Best Friends Fur Ever!

Holly came to training a bit anxious and very barky. She left training a happy, confident dog who eliminated anxiety barking completely.
During her program, she learned essential cues such as PLACE, LET’S GO (walking nicely on leash), LEAVE IT, COME, FOCUS (looking off distractions and focusing on the handler), and QUIET (cue to stop barking and settle).

Holly exceeded expectations in training, and in just 30 days, she was loose leash walking, socialized around people and dogs, confident, had reliable recall, and no longer barked at other dogs or the TV.

Pepper came to training very shy and scared. She left training a confident and well-adjusted puppy.

During her program she learned the cues PLACE, LET’S GO (walking nicely on leash),SIT, and COME.

Pepper worked her in training and in 30 days was loose leash walking, socialized around people/dogs, confident, and had reliable recall, sit, and place with distractions.

She also learned how to walk with her sister Penny on leash politely and work around sibling distractions.

It’s at Best Friends Fur Ever! We are having a PLACE party to celebrate our training dogs success.

Teaching your dog the PLACE cue is great for having your dog relax and not rush or jump on guests at the front door.

PLACE teaches your dog to go to a bed, mat, or cot and stay until released with FREE cue. It helps teach relaxation and helps dogs

Ellie came to training with typical adolescent puppy behaviors such as pulling on leash and eating things off the ground.
During her program she learned the cues PLACE, LEAVE IT, and LET’s GO (walking nicely on leash).
Ellie excelled in training and in 10 days was loose leash walking and ignoring puppy distractions such as things on ground, squirrels, and other dogs.

We know you've seen this message pop up before. It's easy to ignore and keep taking pics until things get critical because you're just too busy.

We are at CRITICAL capacity and need help! We had to take down the overflow tent because it just wasn't working in these hotter temperatures and the cost is astronomical. There are many animals on hold for court cases that can't leave and are taking up space. We have to make sure we have room for strays and any emergencies that come in. People are still wanting to surrender pets. And there are so many wonderful adoptable dogs!
We've got room for 65md (megadogs) and currently have 76md needing housing.
Storage is full and we need to free up space without deleting any precious files!

Help us transfer some of these megadogs from the shelter to more permanent storage by adopting! We can always use some temporary storage as well if you're willing to foster!
