Half Halt Stables is looking for experienced barn help/groom Position
Located in Cocoa starting January 1st!

Tuseday 7am to 4pm
Wednesday 7am to 2pm
Thursday 7am to 1pm
Friday 7am to 2pm
Saturday 7am to 4pm

7am is a must some afternoon hours can be moved around.

Chores include:

Cleaning stalls + bedding stalls + feeding horses + Making up hay bags

Tacking and untacking horses
Longing horses potentially walking horses

Great show for the Half Halt Stables Girls!

Jana Reich rode Tina Archer , Ira, 11 year old Gelding in their GP. This team is getting better and better at the Grand Prix Test. Not quite in the scores yet but very very close.

Jana also rode her own and Linda Scharfs 6 year old Gelding in his 3rd level debute! For a 65% and a second place. He was such a good boy.

Lauralee Miller rode her own 5 year old Opi in their first show together! What a treat he was so well behaved.

Always nice to catch up with horse show friends as well!

Super fun and successful Region 3 Regional Championships for Half Halt Stables!

Susanne Benne rode Heidi McNamer mare Darlene in the 3rd level open Championships class for a 68% for 7th place!

Hanna Benne rode her and Tina Archers talented mare Lila, in the 3rd level open Championships class for a 67% for a 10th place, and she rode Toni Pastermacks Friesan Menno in the 3rd level open Championships class for a 8th Place. She also rode Terri Rines Gelding Ruso, in the I1 Championships class for a lovely, harmonies and solid round! Way to go!

Jana Reich rode her and Alicia Lee's 7 year old Fritz also in the 3rd level Championships class for a 69% for a 6th place finish in the class.

This was especially fun because all 3 Girls, Mother and Daughters placed back to back in 3rd level and got to ride together in the award ceremony! How special!

Big Congratulations also to Chase DeMarco who rode Tina Archers 6 year old mare to Reserved Champion in their 2nd level open Championship class. They get to go to Nationals! What an accomplishment!
Also big congrats to his students Sandy, Aurelia and Tallulah!

Exciting show this past weekend at the beautiful facility in Mykka city. Terranova Equestrian center.

Head Trainer Susanne Benne rode Indus owned by Heidi Cave McNamer in PSG claiming 2nd and first place. Way to go. They had to show in the rather scary CDI ring and managed quite well for that!

Very big weekend for Jana Reich! She rode Tina Archers 11 year old Ira in her and his very first Grand Prix. What a milestone 👏 she has trained him since he is 4 years old! They came in second both days with respectable scores for the first time showing Grand Prix. Tears and champagne was flowing!
We are so excited for what's to come! Big congratulations to team Ira

Jana also rode her young horse Zacharias Zonik in his second level debut scoring in the mid 60s. He was definitely excited but proofed to be a good boy! Way to go

Ashlyn Merritt rode her own Peanut in their I1 debute scoring a 61% bringing home their first Gold Medal score! Congratulations ashlyn 🤎🤎

Katelyn Littles rode Duke owned and sponsored by Sarah Sisk! Thank you so much Sarah! They picked their 1st level 3 classes to win both days with a high of 65%. Way to go Katelyn!

Great show this past weekend at WEC.
We had a big group of people and horses with us with lots of success and fun as usual.🥳

Susanne Benne rode Indus owned by Heidi Cave McNamer in the PSG class. With lots of very impressive moments. That horse can move!

Jana Reich rode her and Alicia Lee's 7 year old Fritz (Florida DN) in second level and won both classes with a 67% and 71% and are qualified for Reginals. What a horse!!

Hanna Benne rode Toni Pastermack Menno in his 3rd level Freestyle, rocking the stage with a 67% and 68% improving the scores every show, also this pair is qualified for Reginals! Congratulations what a fun Freestyle to watch.

Katelyn Littles Half Halt Stables working student rode, Heidi McNamers horse Darlene, in her first rated show at 1st level. Working towards her bronze medal and instructor program scores! We are so proud of you Katelyn and thankful for Heidi for lending you her super horse! Way to go!

Amy Zhan rode her own Layla in 1st level and their second Level debut! So much improvements in this pair. They are moving up nicely!

Hanna Benne rode Ruso owned by Terri Rines in some training sessions with Julio Mendoza working towards their Grand Prix! An exciting journey to watch!!!

Hanna Benne also coached her student Christy on her horse Roo. They Aced their 4th level test 3 with a win and a 73% what a grand show debut for that duo!

Chase DeMarco and his group of students brought home lots of Success as well! Chase rode his own, Capi in their very first Grand Prix together! Wow wow wow! What an accomplished to train a horse to that point! What an exciting weekend!

His student Avery accomplished her bronze medal this weekend on Pauli. She is such a dedicated young rider!

Chases student Sandy and her horse Roo had a successful weekend showing 2nd level. His student Lynn and her horse Fancy had a successful weekend showing second level as well. And his student Aurelia had a great weekend showing her mare 3rd level.

Half halt stables had a fun Weekend at WEC.
Lots of good riding and success for all of us.
Heidi Cave McNamer rode her own, Indus and conquered 4th level test 3, they had lots of great moments! 62% and a qualifying score 👌.
Sarah Sisk and her horse Duke had their show debute at training level. And they came in first and second with incredible scores up to 72.9% WOW way to go Sarah!!
Susanne Benne rode Darlene owned by Heidi McNamer in her 3rd level debute! For a 3rd and 1st place with 68% and 69%.
Great job and well done to all!!

First show of 2024 in the books!
It was busy, rainy, and cold! But what doesn't kill you makes you stronge, right!? 💪

Susanne Benne rode her and Mary Gleasons Liebling in 3 wonderful training sessions with Julio Mendoza and had amazing improvements as this pair is focusing on training towards the GP this season!

Hanna Benne and Tina Archers mare La Quinzi Jo joined and also trained with Julio for 3 days. Fun and very educational to watch!
Thank you Julio for teaching in the cold rain! 🥶

Jana Reich rode her and Alicia Lee's 7 year old Florida DN in their 2nd level debut for a 1st with 69% and second place with 66%. Thank you Susanne Benne for all the help this weekend with our youngster.

Hanna Benne also rode Ruso OVL owned by Terri Rines in the Inter 1 class with a win and a 65% way to go!!
And Menno Nico owned by Toni Pastermack was presented by Hanna Benne as well, having a great 3rd level ride, as well as their 3rd level Musical Freestyle debut. Brining home the blue ribbon with a 65%.

BO JENA CLINIC!!! DECEMBER 12TH and 13TH

Bo will be here on December 12th and 13th for a 2 day clinic. If you are interested and would like more information, please let us know so that we can put you on the list for the clinic if there aree still spots available. If you have a time preference, let me know, so I can schedule accordingly.
He does lesson or Long line sessions!

Auditors more then welcome! Auditors fee is 25$.

For anyone new here, this is Bo's short bio. He's a real favorite!

From Sweden, and considered one of the world's foremost experts in the art of long lining, a leading international rider, trainer and international FEI Judge, is the multi-talented Bo Jena. Bo is a judge educator in his native country and a member of the International Dressage Trainer's Club.

He began at Flyinge, the famous Swedish national stud, in 1973, where he learned from Maj. Anders Lindgren and Walter Christensen. Jenå is still deeply involved at Flyinge, and he continues to give many clinics in Scandinavia and throughout the United States.

Region 3 Championships is a wrap!
Lots of success and lots of improvements!
Head Trainer Susanne Benne rode her and Mary Gleasons big boy Liebling in the Intermediate 1 Championships class and the I1 Freestyle class. Coming in 7th and 8th! Congratulations.

Jana Reich riding Ira owned by Tina Archer also riding in the I1 and I1 Freestyle class coming in 10th place. Working on consistency and relaxation on this boy! With big improvements!

Hanna Benne rode Ruso owned by Terri Rhines in the PSG championship class and his I1 debut. Bringing home a second place in the I1! Congratulations 🎊 Hanna also rode her and Tina Archers 7 year old Mare Laquinzi aka Lila in her US debut at 3rd level! This pair has a bright future!

Chase DeMarco cleaning up at this Regionals winning the I1 Freestyle class with a 71% with Diva owned by Margaret Stern and coming in 5th in the I1 class. He came in 3rd with Titan in the 2nd level championship class also owned by Margaret Stern. He also rode Noelani aka Noe owned by Tina Archer in her 1st level championship class coming in 5th with a 70%.
Chases student Sandy rode her own Gru in the First and second level classes and did well. As well as chases student Annie in Training level.

Way to go!

Successful show for Team Half Half at WEC last weekend.
Hanna Benne showed Toni Pastermack's super cute Friesian Menno in 3rd level scoring 63% and 64% with some super highlights!

Ineka Pastermack showed Zoro owned by Susanne Benne in 4th level test 3 winning both days with a 66% way to go!!

Jana Reich showed Barney owned by Ute Long in his 3rd level debute, scoring a 65% and 66%. He was such a golden pony!
Jana also showed her and Linda Scharffs Zach, in 1st level 3, with a 67% and 68% for a 3rd and 1st place.

Ashlyn Merritt rode her own Peanut in the PSG for 2 wins! With a 63% and 66%. This couple is qualified for Reginals now!

Chase DeMarco showed his and Rachel Darnell's own Capi in their first Inter A, creeping up to the Grand Prix, a big step! With 64% and 67%!
Chases students Abby showed for the fist time second level, Sandy Gillespie showed her own Gru in 1st and 2nd and qualified in both levels for Reginals! And Annie showed her own Lyft for a 72%.

Big Show weekend for the Half Halt Stables crew at WEC in Ocala!
Susanne rode her and Mary Gleason's 10 year old Liebling in the small tour CDI! Lots of improvements for the pair! Ending on Sunday on a personal best in the I1 Freestyle with a 67% and a 6th place! Liebling is taking this new huge CDI step like a pro we can't wait to continue to watch this journey!

Jana Reich rode Tina Archers 10 year old Ira in the I1 and I1 Freestyle. This pair has turned it around and figured out how to prep for their tests. No spooking, tension and looking for Ira this weekend! Scoring 67% and 69% way to go!

Hanna Benne rode Terri Rhines Ruso in the PSG class this weekend scoring a 67% way to go, this duo has a bright future ahead!

Susanne's student Ineka showed Zoro in their first outing at 4th level test 3, they had beautiful moments unfortunately also some tension but overall a great picture!
Jana's students Amy and Layla had a great first outing at 1st level test 3 scoring a 60% and 64%! Way to go.
Ashlyn and Peanut had a successful show as well after a long break due to injurie, they showed PSG for a 60% and 63%! Way to go girls!

Chase De Marco rode his and Rachel Darnell's, El Capone in the PSG and I1 winning the I1 class with a 71%.
He rode Diva owned by the Stern Family in the Psg, i1 and I1 Freestyle ending the weekend in second place in the Freestyle with a 69%. He also rode Tina Archer's 5 year old mare Noe in 1st level test 3, for a 2nd and 1st place with 71% and 74%.
He also had a group of his clients with him with lots of success! Sandy Gillespie rode her own Gru getting qualifying scores in 1st and 2nd level. Katie and Fergie rode their first Freestyle and ended on a 70% getting a qualifying score for Regionals and Annie and Lyft won their class with a 71%.
