Thrill of being an Owner-Handler

I was an Owner-Handler for over 30 years showing my personal Dobermans to their Championships and had several in the Top Twenty for brief periods of time :-).

I now show dogs for other people on a very limited basis and am a Lead Ring Steward for Southeastern Stewards Association.

My true passion is in teaching my students how to handle their dogs and to be the Best Owner-Handler they can be and for them to Win and obtain their dogs Championships on their own dog. Every time one of my students takes points towards their Championships it is a thrill........but when I can personally be there on the day they Finish their dogs is more Rewarding than I can put into words.....I give each student one on one lessons and tailor how they show their dog to their needs and their dogs needs.....giving them tips and tricks of the trade to make them successful in the ring against the high powered handlers....
