WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY
10.10.24
Today, on World Mental Health Day, we at The Therapeutic Farm at The Lucky Horse Sanctuary stand united in recognizing the importance of mental health for all. We believe that mental well-being is not a luxury but a necessity. Every individual deserves access to compassionate care, support, and resources to help navigate their mental health journey.
This year’s theme, “Mental health is a universal human right,” resonates deeply with our mission. No one should have to struggle in silence. That’s why we are committed to providing a safe space where individuals can heal, grow, and rediscover their strength.
🌱 You Are Not Alone: Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, or any other mental health challenges, there is help available. Reach out, talk to someone, and take that brave first step toward healing.
💚 We’re Here for You: Our team of dedicated professionals and rescued therapy animals are here to support you in your journey toward mental wellness. Together, we can break the stigma surrounding mental health and create a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Let’s work together to raise awareness, spread hope, and ensure that mental health care is accessible to all. Today and every day, let’s choose compassion, connection, and courage.

It seems there is a “National Day” for just about everything, including bath tubs. So what better time to introduce Feather Haven, our new beautiful duck & goose coop made possible by a donation from one of our community partners, The Brady Hunter Foundation. Make sure to check it out on your next visit to the sanctuary 💜

INTERNATIONAL RABBIT DAY 2024 🥕 This year the rescued rabbits at The Lucky Horse Sanctuary are celebrating International Rabbit Day with quite the spread because PETCO has decided to only offer rescued rabbits for sale in all their stores. This hits home to our rescue rabbits at the sanctuary, as they were sold as baby’s from PETCO to only a few short months later be abandoned in parks to parking lots. Thank you PETCO for taking a stand against petover population. You are an ANIMAL HERO 🦸♀️

Happy Friday from The Lucky Horse Sanctuary 💜
Please welcome the newest residents to
The Lucky Horse Sanctuary. Unbeknownst to me, when I answered an add advertizing “geese and ducks for sale”, that these animals were being sold from a butcher store. Now these beautiful birds will be able to enjoy life, make lots of friends, and touch hearts from their beautiful coop, “Feather Haven”, made possible thru a generous donation from The Brady Hunter Foundation 💜💜💜
🆘🆘In this South Florida HEAT WAVE 🥵 our fans can’t keep up and are bitting the dusk. Want to know how you can help your favorite rescue animal keep their cool? Buy a 20 inch high volecity fan ($40 - $60) from your favorite home improvement store, or Zelle the same amount to our number ( 561-860-1404) and we will purchase it for you.
ON BEHALF OF OUR HOT ANIMAKS, THANK YOU FOR HELPING US KEEP OUR COOL 🆒😎🥒
