I hope you've all had a wonderful holiday season!

Knowing that my clients come from all different backgrounds and work spaces with their horses and their tack, I'd like to extend the offer for you to send me tack that I've built for you, so I can check it over and perform repairs on cosmetic detail sections.

I know when I have a piece that I look over after every use, check for tightness of the 2 ply detail weaves, keep out of muddy water and dirt, avoid things like sagebrush etc, that they stay pristine and like new except for that protective hair that gets worked in.

But let's be honest...I only do that for one or two pieces, and never for the life of the piece 😬
The rest get used and abused as befits a working tool, and I don't do *any* due diligence in their care.
This means cosmetically they aren't looking like they did when they were newer, and that's okay.

So, finally getting to my point, I'd like to offer free cosmetic repairs to pieces you've purchased from me, or any issues arising outside of regular wear and tear or accidents on structural elements.

💥To make sure we're on the same page: I am not offering repairs on structural mohair that has been cut, damaged due to intended use, worn down by incorrect tacking up/disintegration due to rubbing, improper storage/mouse chewing, neglect type situations, etc.

💙I *am* offering repair on the 2 ply you've noticed is pulling out of its burial in the weave, or structural issues due to material failure outside of wear and tear. Please note: this free, conditional repair does not cover donated pieces.

How it will work:
♤👾You message me to talk about any potential repairs, send photos, and we discuss.

♤👾If approved for free repair, you pay to ship your piece to me, and I repair it as best the piece will allow. Most colors are still in production. Tie dye pieces will be harder to source and may take longer if available.

♤👾If the repairs are extensive, you pay return shipping as well.

♤👾If they are minor, I will pay return shipping.

♡♡♡👀REMINDER: Regular paid repairs or rebuilds are welcome, no stipulations, priced on a case by case basis, and get priority status👀♡♡♡

Enjoy this terribly rushed photo of my new personal cinch.

This 28" is for one of our personal mares.
Her rider's groove sits pretty far back, so the saddle sits back, which means she doesn't need any tie backs for her elbows.

She gets as much pressure distribution as possible and with her mutton withers requiring a tighter cinch, she needs it.

I've got this *very lightly* used 34" straight cutter with nylon center for sale.
Regular $140, now $100; will ship as always.

Sage and sand with locally hand-dyed rust two ply detail, Jeremiah Watt/Horseshoe Brand centre D rings.

I built this for myself and after selling some things, and some horses, it's bigger than what I need because of course that's what happens 🙄😂

Couple customs sent out today, fluorescent lights chiming in to bum me out, but you get the idea.

It's been a busy few months, I know I should post more but life gets in the way.
Yesterday we moved some cows up the mountain, and the ol' ranch mare, Con, wore a royal blue mohair puller I made a few years back. I didn't get a photo of her in it because we started at 4:30 and I am not built for coherence at that hour.
I never (why, who knows?) make things specifically for myself, but I do pick one or two in stock items for periodical structural integrity checks. They are then sold as used, at used prices, as I like to be able to cater to all budgets as much as I can.
The puller did great, it's been through some rough use and still does a beautiful job while complimenting the brassy copper of a hardy red mare.
