For those wondering what it's like having a Malinois pup! They're so easy to love, though, if you can handle the high energy and the razor sharp teeth! Never a dull moment at Barca K9! After the movies that feature Belgian Malinois many think they're going to get a little cuddly ball of fur that does cool tricks like seen on TV. You can, absolutely, get them to do the as seen on TV stuff! However, it's important to know it takes a lot of hard work and dedication on your part! When this cute breed isn't working they're running, jumping, and playing (with their razor teeth) almost 24/7. They're worth it if you can put in the work required!

Great weekend down in AZ. I'll be adding a ton of videos and tagging all the great people that made it happen in future posts. We will definitely be down again to train and network with the great people of Arizona.

I admit, I like protection work and odor is a close second but obedience is just as important to me. A lot of people will argue working dogs can slack on obedience and I'm not saying they are wrong but for me I find it important for control, patience, and focus to be built or further developed. This is just a refresher for Judah, he may be my more challenging K9 in ways, he's by far the most obedient as well. I'll post some photos of Azrael and Hazel learning place, stay, and heal, they are coming along nicely as well!
