Do you know the difference between a Professional Pet Groomer, and a "pet stylist"? When deciding on a grooming salon to frequent, don't be afraid to ask what the owner does for continuing education. Ask about her involvement in community pet issues. Look at pictures she may have displayed on the wall(s). Ask your friends and family member who they have a long term "grooming"relationship with. We
here at Angie's Groomingdales are all "Professional Pet Groomers" We have many accolades, advanced training and Angie runs Second Chance Pet Rescue, in her "spare" time. We are dedicated to our community and the pets that reside here!

I'm looking for a weekend Kennel attendant. Must have reliable transportation either their own or a parent. I will only consider direct relatives of current clients. No strangers. Must be extraordinarily responsible and dependable. PM me if you have somebody in mind that could work out. It's most weekends and occasional Fridays and Mondays and every Major holiday
*** Appointment Errors***
It has come to my attention that there have been some scheduling mistakes. Some appointment cards have the wrong dates on them. I will list here the dates that I will be closed for family affairs and horse races, through the rest of the Summer. If your appointment card has one of these dates on it, please call me to get your correct appointment date and time :

I have come to the hard decision that I will no longer be accepting new clients for the foreseeable future. This makes me very sad, because I love meeting new dog friends 🐶 , but until I can get reliable, honest, hard-working groomers in the salon, it's just me! I can't keep up with the clientele that I have, let alone add more. I may also have to make the hard decision to invite some clients to find a new groomer in the very near future. My Summer hours are from 10:00 a.m. until 5:30, or 6:00. No matter what time you're used to me calling you by to pick up your pet, everything is taking me twice as long now. There is no more "you usually call me by," I can't do it! Your pet is not ready until I call you. I am doing the best I can to do quality work in the shortest amount of time I can manage. I am by myself. When you call five times a day to ask if your dog is done yet that slows me down. When you show up at the counter I have to stop what I'm doing and come up and talk to you. On top of the fact that your dog gets extraordinarily excited that you're there and then it makes it very difficult for me to finish. If you would like to remain a client, you must understand I'm doing the best I can and I will call you when your pet is ready and PLEASE do not come down to pop in because you were in the area until I call you. I WILL NOT BE RESCHEDULING THOSE OF YOU THAT CONSISTENTLY DO THAT. I love my job and I love all of the pets that I work on. I'm doing the best that I can and I appreciate you understanding
Spring has definitely sprung on the farm! The greenhouse is going gangbusters. The garden is in and there's babies everywhere! Just in case any of you were wondering what I do in the mornings before I come to"work" 🤣😁🐕 ✂️

Before and after of a cutiest new Cocker spaniel client. Little Jasper is a 5 month old pup. I like to start them a little younger but we managed!! Puppies take so much extra patience, time and gentle handling. They CANNOT be rushed. Their first experience at the groomers needs to be happy, positive and fun so they will enjoy coming back every 8-10 weeks the rest of their lives! I'm so happy his mommy had extra patience waiting for my "he's finished" call with the time it took today!!
Hours are changing up a bit! With Spring/Summer activities I will be opening later and staying open later, but working less days. As most of you know my daughter and I compete with our horses and race season has started! I will be open limited Saturdays thru October. I also live on a Farm in Cataldo. Lots of babies being born April/May so keeps my mornings extra busy!! New hours starting May 1 will be 10-530/6. As always, I appreciate your continued business so much!!

We have all these wonderful dogs, and more, in Rescue! Shelters are bursting at the seams and the euthanasia rates are at an all time high because of overcrowding and no place for them to go. Breeders can't sell all their puppies and are dumping "litter leftovers" all over. I am desperate for foster homes. Adoptions are at an all time low for some reason and I can't rescue any more dogs in danger unless I can get some help! I currently have 9 puppies 6 months and under that need to get into homes and start learning basic obedience, leash training, housebreaking, crate training and general social skills. Please if you have a dog friendly home and secure fenced yard and are able to train a puppy as a volunteer for Second Chance Pet Rescue, get ahold of me!!!
