Friends with dogs! If you are enduring stormy/high wind conditions, especially if it is bitterly cold outside like it is here, PLEASE mind your furry family members. Just because they have fur doesn't mean they can't get cold. Dogs shouldn't be outside for longer than a quick walk or potty break. And please please please make sure your pup has some form of identification on - either tags or a collar with a phone number printed on it. I am seeing waaay too many posts on fb about wandering/lost dogs and nobody knows who they belong to. 😞 These high winds and changes in barometric pressure can make dogs feel uneasy and scared, triggering flight mode. Not to mention wind gusts can blow open gates to fenced in yards. Everyone got it? Ok. Stay safe and thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
